I bought this as a replacement battery for a Renewed Dell Latitude 5400 14 in. 8th Gen Core i7-8665U 16GB RAM 512GB PCIe SSD. The laptop works perfect but the battery was weak at about 60% capacity and only holding enough charge to use the laptop for about an hour. I replaced it with this battery and depending on what I am doing will last well over four hours. The included tools were helpful to remove and replace the battery. The battery was a snug fit, but did fit into the battery compartment. The included instructions were okay with fractured English. If this battery continues to perform like it does now I would buy it again. It is good value for the money. YouTube installation videos were very helpful.

At first, I am hesitant to buy this. I have an old and dying Dell laptop, so I have decided to grab a new battery if it will help. I don't want to spend so much money, so this fits the picture. The battery has been running my laptop consistently and it holds the power well. This is a good bang for your money; the battery quality is great and almost like the original battery when it is new.

Dell 15 laptop, series 3000 NOTE: First and foremost, look at the number on your specific BATTERY and order accordingly. Do not just order based on laptop model #. Apparently they put different batteries in different laptops, even with same Dell #. They will not fit if you don't get correct number of battery. I learned this the hard way. This battery got my older laptop back up and running. Note 2: Dell had an alternating amber and white flashing power light on charger. One of the notices it may be giving is bad battery, so that was first thing I tried. This battery got my laptop back up and running and removed the error flashes. Was easy replacement with swap in and out once you understand the way the battery comes out with the small slide switch and pops back in without touching the slide. Battery is going in a laptop that I'm going to get rid of, but I had to open the laptop to get any needed data. No way to gauge battery lift at this point. And I saw no instructions. Too early to truly determine but as of this initial writing, I'd order again and recommend to others if asked. Seems to have worked.

I have a several year old Dell Inspiron 1558 that could not be upgraded to Win 11. So I installed Linux and it worked fine. It had the original battery and last a little over 1/2 hour on battery power. I ordered the new battery and was impressed how well fit to the Dell, easy installation. It's not a work machine so use it intermittently during the day and had no problem using it all day on battery. The reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is that it is too early too tell about battery duration after more charging cycles.

My Thinkpad T580 started displaying the infamous "battery #2 failure" message and was not charging fully. Under recommendation from a computer repair technician, I purchased and installed this battery. My computer now charges fully and no longer has battery error messages. I usually use this unit as a desktop, so I cannot attest to the actual battery life at this time, but so far it is working excellently.

My Dell Inspiron 7577's OEM battery life had dwindled to something like 15 minutes after 3 years. Dell's price is well over $100 and I'm relatively handy with computers so I didn't have a problem buying an aftermarket part, especially as other ratings on this particular item were pretty good. I downloaded the repair manual for my laptop, and as soon as this battery got here, went to replace it. Taking the back off a 7577 is easy. Removing the screws that hold the battery in place is easy. Removing the CONNECTOR from the old battery (to be able to connect it to the new one) is nerve-wracking - seriously, those are the thinnest, most FRAGILE wires and connectors I've seen. If you do this, DO NOT PULL ON EITHER CONNECTOR (the end that fits on the computer as well as the one that fits on the battery). I used the point of a HAND SEWING NEEDLE to gently pry both ends of the battery cable free - very slowly, a nudge on one side and then again on the other, until it was far enough off the pins to be able to lift it off the rest of the way (GENTLY!!). Putting it back on the new battery was the reverse - fitting it gently onto the pins and then pushing one side, then the other with the eye of the needle. I had to take off BOTH ends of the cable - the computer connector and the battery because the wires are SO thin, I did not want to flip the cable over (the connector is on the side facing down, of course, so you have to flip it if you don't remove the computer end first). I was seriously afraid I'd snap the wires if I did flip it over. Once both connectors were in place, screws back in and the laptop's back put back on, the system booted without incident. The battery did not have a full charge, and once I charged it I ran the laptop till shutdown three or four times, to condition it. It currently holds a charge a little over 2 hours (not much different from the original OEM battery), which I'm pleased with. By the way, the screwdrivers this ships with? Don't need 'em for this purpose (a small Phillips head is fine), and they're pretty cheap/chintzy anyway. The battery seems to do what it's supposed to, and I'm happy with that. Vendor shipped it quickly and followed up with a warranty email.

This is a good battery. Charged right up. Gives me 6 hours on my laptop.

The battery arrived on time and was simple to install. I've had this battery installed on the laptop for 3 months now and has worked flawlessly and got me through a couple of power outages. I would recommend this battery when a replacement is needed.
