how do you safely clean the gaiter? Washing machine safe?

Hand wash with a little detergent. I actually used dawn dishwashing liquid! Use a towel and tap dry and hang over night in bathroom shower rod. Cleans up great!

It is made of a stretch poly-spandex material. It is light weigh and not confining at all but does protect against wind, dust, sun etc.
