Rokenbok Power ROK-Lift

I can only say that my Great niece & Great Nephew loved all of the Rokenbok toys! Since they are out in Oregon, I can only listen to my Nephew & Niece.

I purchased this set to go along with the rok works construction action works set. My son who is 5 loves this!! Along with all his friends who have come over to play. Its a great addition to any of the sets! Adds another level of fun!

Ok I just put together this toy and it came with a broken chute. We were able to bypass it though.When you fill it up with balls, you can drive your vehicle against the push me button and it automatically raises it. It lifts the balls up and tilts the bucket and makes a rattling vibration to get all the balls out and down the chutes. This however does not work for mine. I have to manually finger the balls out. Maybe others won't have such a problem. To stop the loud rattling sound you hit the top lever and it lowers the lift back down.While I was building it I was lame and did not see that the yellow scooper thing has to be below the black rod in order for it to pour into the collection bin of the starter set. It is a pain to fix it again. I had no problems connecting it to the starter set except I didn't have the three black rods for the bottom part that hooks the two together. I guess they didn't include that in there.I suppose kids can learn about gravity and gears from this toy. My kids enjoy driving the vehicles around and throwing the balls more than messing with this loud! toy.

The instructions for these toys are poorly written. The chute parts are not labeled well and must be inserted in a specific way for them to work.The top portion of the chute swings both ways and spills the small balls to either side. Some go down the chute. Others spill off to the side. I had to use tape to hold it in place.The toy came with extra parts which only added to the frustration of putting everything together.The toy works on any surface, but works best on a hard surface.

We purchased the Rok lift for our "almost" 5 year old son. He has been very enthusiatic about it from the moment we took it out of the box except for the fact that it "eats" batteries. We have to replace the batteries with alarming frequency, and it will often stop on ascension and have to be restarted when batteries are not brand new. The rechargeable batteries we have are not powerful enough to use. It also, sometimes, does not trip the switch to begin when pushed and must be manually started. We have not had any problems with noise and it works well when it has fresh power.

I bought the power rok lift, and i was worried about the bad reviews. When I got home, I built it and WOW!! It is SO FUN!!! You just need to put the magnets closer to the yellow thing, (Sometimes you dont even need them)and it will work great! (...) THIS TOY ROCKS!!
