Tachikara Portable Ball Cart

The volleyball cart was exactly like the picture on the website. I entered the gym and passed it to the Coach who was delighted. I would not hesitate to order another Takahari volleyball ball cart.

This is the second cart I’ve purchased, and I’m just as happy with this purchase as I was with the first. I have a habit of forgetting my cart or leaving mine at tournaments, so I purchased a second as a backup. It was packaged well and was exactly as described in description. Ready to use right away, and even comes with an awesome bag to transport cart from tournament to tournament. I haven’t had any issues with the straps on the carrying bag breaking, and my first cart was ordered over a year ago and went through over 100 practices and 11 tournaments. The cart easily holds 24 balls, and no problem. I’ll admit, I’ve used the cart to move my balls, water bottles, boom box, and backpack (all at once) from court to court without the seams ripping or bag tearing. Shipping was fast! Will definitely purchase again!!!

I ordered two of these. Great price but one of them has a bum wheel which is annoying when you are trying to quickly get a cart across a gym. The other one is perfect and is the quality you would expect if you've used Tachikara carts before. If you are a taller coach like me (and have money to blow), you might prefer the taller, wider carts but they are much more expensive and don't fold as compactly so I'm perfectly happy reaching down for a ball and saving $100-$150. I love how easily it folds in and the carrying case is great. It can also be used for carrying volleyballs. Just be careful when closing it as you can rip a hole in the bag if you don't do it properly.

Its a nice cart, it just didn’t hold up in our club season that only lasted 4 months.. the case was starting to fall apart, along with the corners on the cart starting to tear with only 10 balls being in there.

Exactly as described, perfect for junior High & High School Volleyball Teams. Easy to move around to different practice stations. Very happy with purchase.

I like these ball carts. However, they were very poorly packaged. I'm surprised there wasn't any damage done to them in the delivery process.

It is everything I thought it would it be.

The cart itself is easily opened and closed, and does hold 6-7 balls depending on ball size making for managing warmups at away games a lot easier. The tote bag is a joke and horrible quality: clip for carrying strap broke just putting the strap in it when assembling the first of four carts I ordered, I zip tied the others to avoid the same thing for them; then after a couple uses two of the tote bags have ripped ends and the other two are beginning to tear as well. Tote bags will not last a season so I’ve invested in some baseball bat carrying cases instead. Take away is we love the portable carts for how light they are and how much they help at away games, but the tote bags are problematic and one needs to find other means to easily carry the carts around.

As a basketball coach, this makes my practices so much easier. It keeps the court clear of loose balls and then folds up easily. It’s light weight and very portable. This particular cart is also very sturdy and well constructed.

The metal frame is not sturdy enough to handle balls being tossed into it from a distance, and the material also could be thicker to withstand wear and tear. It may rip prematurely.
