Fantastic WiFi router and for such a great price.
I upgraded to 1Gig fibre but sadly the ISP router just has no control or customization so I moved to a pfSense virtual firewall, dropped the ISP router into modem mode and put this in as an AP. For just over £40!... I made the right choice, looking at branded alternatives, this really does pack a punch. I get full signal all over the house and it only drops 1 bar when I'm outside. This is amazing as I have a whole world tech on my network... all of the smart lights and switches stay connected, no drops, kids love the speeds, and my PS5 remote play works a dream now no matter where I am. Highly recommend, i will buy again if needed. Plus it looks "sick" with all those long antenna sprouting out lol

No more wireless signal drops with Virgin Media
Brilliant router, fixed all my wireless issues with the virgin media hub, no more signal dropping and get the speed I pay for over wireless, before this I was loosing wireless signal 3 or 4 times a day and had to reboot the router, speeds where poor over wireless between 30 and 40 when I pay for 350Mb, now no more signal drops and speed is over 360Mb one floor up on the opposite side of the house, truly a great router for the money and setup took 10 minutes.

Budget router without bells and whistles
The Tenda AC23 router is well made and has plenty of speed, WiFi range is good, so there is a lot to like. The admin interface is a bit of a let-down (when you are used to many other routers). The interface is quirky compared to main competitor router interfaces. For instance, the main Internet Status page is simple and a sub-selection allows connected users to be displayed but IP addresses are a little hidden in very faint grey (why?), they cannot be sorted in IP order, there is no option to add users by selection to Port Forwarding, only Blacklisting (for some unknown reason) so Port Forwarding (which is not called this but Virtual Server or Static Route) is a manual job making you enter or type each user IP address into a table manually, any named users do not appear in the Virtual Server list for selection. 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi configuration is easy, separate SSID's can be used. The main problem is that not all associated users appear in the Online user list, so it can be quirky trying to configure connected users without knowing that they are connected by IP addresses. Using Mesh devices or WiFi extenders can be a little tricky, when this is normally straightforward. Bottom line, for many users this budget Chinese router would be fine, but for those who need slightly more exotic connections, you might want to spend more money to get an interface that lends itself better to configuring the options and is easier to use from the outset. I'm still using it, so that probably tells you all you need to know.

Superhub 4 sucked
I had to move the router upstairs for reasons. Couldn't sit in the livin room and watch YouTube without buffering every minute. Lost the plot, had them out and had all the corroded outside bits replaced once I upped to gigabit. WiFi still sucked. An it's directly above me too, all that's between me n it is 2 planks of wood n some carpet. Anyway, this fixed the issue and never broke the bank. Really easy to set up and add devices, speed caps etc. It's not as functional as one that you can reflash with upgraded firmware but it works for what it has to do. Haven't had a single buffer downstairs since I set it up 👍

Damaged on delivery
Came in damaged box, missing power lead and all documents. Told to just use my own power lead. Worked for all of 5 minutes, likely because amazons poor handling. Wifi strength no better that a virgin hub 3, and intermittent at best. No tech support provided. Returned for partial refund.

New tech not always the best!
Replacing virgin wifi. DO you have problems with low signal strength and poor connections with 2.4GHz devices (like Ring door bells etc). More modern routers seem to have poor strength and don't like connecting to 2.4GHz only devices. This has no problems and more than doubles signal strength in previously poor areas. It's cheap, works well and you don't have to be a frustrated beta tester for someones failure to implement the latest tech, which doesn't work with legacy devices or anything else unless you are in the same room as the router, as well as costing you an arm and a leg!

power supply issues
The Router itself is pretty awesome and has solved all the Virgin wireless issues, but the power supply stopped working after just 2 weeks, so be wary of that. Now I have the choice of wrapping it all up and returning it, or sourcing a new power supply myself. If the supplier reads this and just sends me a new power supply that would be awesome, because, as I said, the routers wireless capabilities are great.

Massive improvement
We live in a big house on 3 storeys, so despite having 2 different ISPs and 4 routers, was still some parts of the house with WiFi blackspots. This appears to have solved that. Setting it as a 2nd router on one of the networks, but having its own SSID is giving a good WiFi signal throughout the house, garden, garage and even in the street. More than happy with purchase and would recommend to anybody struggling with their WiFi signal.

Range is good but speed is slow.
Good router, and its range is good almost 300 meters I checked, and after 50 meters signals are full but the speed is very very slow, not the recommended product.
