Build quality 👌 Although corsair claim their rads are cleaned and flushed from their factory, I thought I'd check with Q-tips and their copper showed some signs of copper oxides and ions in the 2 compartments next to both ports. Not cleaning those beforehand could have lead to who knows why so I guess I'll suggest to you guys to clean your rads the same as you'd do when you get cheap corroded ch#n3s3 stuff. Distilled water, a few shaky shaky mister worldwide here and there and youre good to go.

I dropped the XR5 240mm into a secondary loop where space was tight, and it handled the job like a pro. The 30mm thickness paired with a premium copper core and 25-micron fins gives it solid thermal transfer—temps stayed stable even under load. It’s not a monster like the XR7, but for a dual 120mm setup, it punches above its size. Installation was smooth thanks to the integrated fan screw guides, and the matte black polyurethane coating looks sharp without drawing attention. Standard G1/4" threads make it easy to integrate with existing fittings, and the build quality feels premium despite the compact form. If you’re building a smaller loop or need a reliable radiator for a GPU or CPU segment, the XR5 240mm delivers. Just don’t expect it to cool an entire high-wattage rig solo—it’s a team player, not a solo act.

Solido, efficace nel funzionamento ed esteticamente curato. Segnalo in particolare la ricca dotazione di viti, che permette ampia libertà di montaggio su ambo i lati del radiatore, con ventole o su telaio o, come nel mio caso, con ventole + telaio + pompa di raffreddamento. Costoso (ma ne ho trovato un ottimo e scontato esemplare su Amazon Seconda Mano, cercare non guasta...), ma top!
