Q: How does this toner work?

The active ingredient is salicylic acid, a beta hydroxy acid (BHA) that works to gently dislodge dead skin cells, oil, and debris. It’s also a good choice for scarring and hyperpigmentation once the pimple is gone.

Q: Who should use this product?

Clarifying Toner is ideal for normal, combination, and oily skin prone to bumps, blemishes, and clogged pores. If you have a darker complexion, use caution—extra melanin may cause hyperpigmentation. Do not use if allergic to aspirin.

Q: How do I use it to get the best results?

Apply Clarifying Toner once or twice daily after cleansing. Lightly soak a cotton pad and apply to the T-zone or entire face, avoiding the eye area. Do not rinse. If going outside, follow with broad-spectrum SPF 30+.

Q: How quickly will it work?

Results may vary when using our Clarifying Toner, but you should see some improvement after a week of consistent use, and noticeable improvement after 4 weeks of consistent use. The treated skin should appear clearer, smoother, and brighter.

Q: I've noticed a small stinging sensation after applying the toner.

BHAs must be sufficiently acidic to open pores, which is why our product has a pH of 3.3–3.7. This lower pH may cause slight burning or stinging. If it feels too irritating after a few uses, discontinue use.
