Not good for the NCLEX
Lots of spelling mistakes throughout the book. The questions are also too basic and simple and not challenging enough for the actual NCLEX exam. The questions are more content review and not critical thinking type questions

It’s important to practice 75 questions per day!
I bought this textbook because I wanted a book that contains just questions and answers with rationale. I did not want a textbook that comes with a cd, so this book was perfect. The only negative thing is that there were a few errors in some of the answers which was a bit frustrating for me. That aside, the 3000 questions in this book along with Saunders NCLEX review and listening to an audio review class sent to me by a family member really helped me prepare for and passed my NCLEX with only one attempt.I think I did pretty well for someone who did not study nursing in the USA and who have not been practicing for 7 years. The beauty about this profession is that you still remember quite a lot of things this became evident to me while I was studying.I must admit that I was extremely nervous to take the NCLEX especially since the few RNs I spoke to here in the USA always asked me where I’m taking my review classes, this made me very nervous as I began to doubt my abilities to do the review on my own like we always do in the islands. Well, I did 132 questions on my NCLEX exam and 9 days later I received my RN license in the mail.

A Valuable Resource!!
I did every question in this book. I passed the NCLEX the first time with 89 questions. The Rationales are very descriptive and help you understand exactly what the question was asking. This is the only resource I used and the price is very reasonable compared to other options.
