The Rit Dye for synthetic fabric will dye nylon fabric. However, the spandex fibers will not absorb the dye. So, it doesn't dye spandex.

Can this be used on accessories that also contain leather in addition to synthetics?

Rit Dye Synthetic will dye unfinished/untreated leather. Often, shoes and handbags have a sealant or waterproofing agent already applied. These items that have a sealant applied won't accept the dye.

Definitely did not provide full coverage, despite 2 rounds of dyeing, following all steps required. Fabric left with a more stained look than dyed. No consistent colour.
