My hair started falling out in bunches after using this. It also leaves behind big white flakes that look like dandruff. I wish I had never bought this!

I just ordered it so I cannot rate its efficacy, but I like how I finally found an affordable product that doesn't grease up hair and is easy to apply. A huge plus! At some point, I'd always have enough of sleeping in saran wrap and greasy concoctions, and came to realize that this was a waste my money, time, and energy, unless I get some convenient leave-in product. There is a faint scent of castor oil (only on the first day of application) which doesn't bother me. The ingredient list looks good. I was looking for something affordable and convenient, so I can give something at least a fair 6 months try, because I can only stick with greasy and stinky "solutions" for so long and I never last nearly long enough to see a difference (4-5 months is a bare minimum, and more realistic and sure number is 8-9 months of persistent treatment to really know if something works for you). I plan on updating at the end of the year, unless I get results earlier. Good luck everybody Edit: I was busy and did not stick with the routine long enough to really judge it like I wanted, but I saw no improvement after a couple of months.

I hope to the powers that be this stuff never goes away!! I swear by it and have recommended it to soooooo many people. I use both the shampoo, conditioner and scalp treatment (just after i shower). My hair started falling out because of some medication I was on. And not wanting to stop the meds, because I didn't want the migraines to return. I looked for a way to stop the hair fall and return growth instead. This stopped the hair fall in the shower almost immediately! And within 6 weeks my hair started to feel fuller again and baby hairs returned. Now after a year of using it my hair is back to where it used to be. There was a time where amazon was out, backorder, and I had to go without it for a month. I tried some other stuff, didn't work at all my hair started falling out again, my scalp started tightening up getting itchy, dry and flaky again. I hated everything else. Finally it came back in stock! I guess my scalp was so irritated from scratching or just the other products because the very first time I used this stuff again, just the first time and only for a minute. It tingled my scalp some. I like the smell, but because of it being a very natural product, I do notice that it varies in color and smell slightly from batch to batch. But I have a super sensitive sniffer, I can smell a dish at a restaurant and tell you every ingredient, spice, ect they use. Sometimes the condition is white, sometimes it's more yellow. It is natural product variation. Due due where they source certain ingredients. Like some Shea butters can be more yellow vs white. And how long it's been sitting in a warehouse. The smell changes as it ages I've notice. Like the essential oils marinate with one another... lol I have tried other products from mountain top as well and have had very similar experience. I am a big fan of theirs. Oh and every bottle gives you a code for a free product, so there's a bonus! It does take a LONG time to get the free product but it does come.

BUT the pumps tend to fail very soon after beginning use. They should work once a day but after a few days or weeks, the pumps fail. You are left with product that you must pour onto your hands to use. Not what I was hoping for. This item is sold also buy another seller using a different label, but from same lab manufacturer. Those pumps fail too. Perhaps the labs/packaging people could find a better pump to distribute the product. Be prepared for this to happen, as I have bought under two labels, same lab, and pumps fail quickly.
