More Than Just a Kettle – It's Art!
A stunning and versatile piece! I purchased this as a gift for my daughter, and she absolutely adores it. It's so beautiful that when she's not using it to heat water, she proudly displays it as a decorative accent on her living room shelf. This kettle offers incredible value for the money. If you're searching for a unique, high-quality, and beautiful item that makes a statement, this is the perfect choice!"

Wirklich schade!!

OH MY!! So Pretty - amazing value
I purchased two of these tea pots, one is a wedding gift for my new sister-in-law. I loved how they looked and knew for a fact "hand crafted" meant unique character all its own. I was a little fearful about ordering these, because of the disparaging comments about sturdiness, quality and size. I am so very Pleased I took the Leap of Faith. Maybe they didn't totally understand what Hand Crafted, Vintage Turkish Tea Pot meant? I am very visually detailed, being a crafty person myself. I had a wonderful time explaining the process to my husband, and showing him the oddities in the crafting. Its amazing and beautiful. If you are looking for something you can treat like a mainstream factory manufactured tea pot, this is totally not a purchase you should make. If you want something with special, unique character and visually stunning, This is the pot for you. Do follow the directions for washing. This is not the only tea pot in my collection that requires you to slow down and pay special attention to its care and keeping. I am very glad I purchased two, my sister-in-law wouldn't be getting a wedding gift if I hadn't. Update: Still using this wonderful pot, still looks brand new and is holding up really well, I do use it often.

It is hand made of copper, checked.
Well it really is made of copper yes. Art first you can doubt as there are several stains from tin plating on the bottoms of kettles, but I just took a knife and decided to scrape those spots a little too see what metal will show. It is copper, you can see the part that I scraped on one of the pictures. The thickness of metal is about 0,5 mm - which is really thin, it should be at least 1 mm to even 1,2 mm. The quality is definitely poor/fast hand made level, lots of small and bigger scratches, dents, little imperfections all over. It was easy to attach the handles but the wood is roughly polished and there's a boiled polish dried on them in bubbles. There is no strain nor steam hole. After trying it out, following all the right directions on coking Turkish tea I didn't get the result I wanted. Obviously the thickness of the metal is not enough to steep the tea well. Summing up: pretty souvenir to keep on the top shelf on your kitchen, it looks petty from far it is obvious poorly made from close look. It doesn't work well as a real Turkish tea kettle.
