Q: Mine has been up for a week and so far nothing is happening. My laundry still smells damp. What am I doing wrong?

I bought this item and put hanging in my laundry room and thought that they were not working, don’t give up, it’s probably not damp enough and it will start working. Mine did after over a month!

Q: How do these compare to Damp Rid as far as how much one pack can absorb? Each bag is smaller than half the size of one Damp Rid branded bag.

I have only opened one packet, which I'm testing in my walk-in closet. In 2-weeks, it has absorbed much moisture and my closet smells very fresh with no musty odors. I like the compact size and the fact that it is odorless, unlike Damp Rid's cloying smell. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase and will make a thorough review, in a few weeks...Try it, I think you will like it...If not, "Vacplus" will not abandon you; excellent customer service is their claim to fame!

Q: Would this be safe to hang in a bearded dragon tank to help reduce humidity?

Hard for me to answer as I use it in my motor homes washing machine when not in use to keep the moisture out. It works great. I believe it is calcium chloride, and I think that is harmless, but I do not know enough about the ingredients, or Reptiles to know if it is safe for this use.
