L and L Goat Milk Pure Castile Soap Liquid Unscented for Face, Hand & Body Wash - Hand-Made, Non-GMO, Made in USA, for All Skin Types, Dry & Sensitive Skin (1 Gallon)

Ever since Alaffia changed their recipe for their kids body wash, I've been looking for a replacement. I have loads of allergies, and finding a soap that I can use has proved challenging. I was looking for something that was fragrance free, GMO free, natural, and fragrance free. I thought I had found the perfect soap but then I tried it!Castile soap is generally very good soap. It creates a small amount of suds, lathers well, and does a good job of cleaning hands that are oily or greasy after eating. This soap is the opposite it does not lather well at all and there are hardly any suds.This particular soap does not clean at all! When I washed my hands after eating popcorn, my hands were still as oily as they were before I washed them. What's worse, when you use this soap it feels like you have an oil slick on your hands.While this soap is fragrance free and makes a lot of claims, I still experienced my hands breaking out in a scaly red rash. I have not experienced this with other Castile soaps so I'm not sure what this company does differently with their soap.The list of good claims about this soap is lengthy and one of the reasons I purchased this soap in the beginning: Sulfate Free; Cruelty Free; Paraben Free; Non GMO; Gluten Free; Made in the USA; No Artificial Colors; and No Artificial Fragrances.The ingredient list also looks clean: Water; (Saponified Oils (Helianthus Annuus (Suflower Oil); Cocus Nucifera (Coconut Oil)); and Citric Acid. The Saponified Oils do claim to be Saponified with Potassium Hydroxide (Lye) but the manufacturer claims no lye exists in the finished soap.I am not sure if there is lye in this soap or not. What I am sure of is the reaction my skin had to this soap. I am not allergic to any of the ingredients listed on this product, however if it contains lye that could be the cause of my rash as I know detergents that contain lye I have to avoid at all costs.

When diluted for hand soap and body soap, this soap became so runny after a day or two. Would not recommend for those looking for a liquid Castile soap that can be diluted for homemade body care and cleaning products. I was hoping this would be a good product as a more moisturizing option for our diy soaps, but I will not be purchasing it again. I tried this produce both with essential oils and without and it always turned to water after a day or two. Very disappointed.

My favorite body wash and shampoo disappeared a few months ago. So I was looking for one that can handle my sensitive skin, will still making me feel clean. I picked this up partially to stock up on soap, and also to experiment with adding my own essential oils. I have to say that I love the results. My skin and scalp are very sensitive and dry out easily, this soap helps to get me clean without making me feel that my skin has been stripped, or drying out my hair. I will definitely buy again.I added frankincense, myrrh, and geranium essential oils to this soap. I have to say I love the way I smell after using it.

I have sensitive skin. I’ve been using a bars of non toxic soap for years but I recently wanted to add essential oils to my own shower gel base. I poured some of this into a reusable pump bottle, added essential oils and diluted it by 1/3. The consistency to add to my loufa in the shower is perfect. Definitely works well for my extremely sensitive skin. Leaves my tattoos moisturized

I love this soap. I used the essential oil bergamot for a nice scent. I followed the instructions that were included in the package. I have used it in a regular soap dispenser and in a foam dispenser. It works great in both dispensers. The soap leaves the skin feeling very soft!
