I bought this for my husband since we both joke that we're hobbits (we are short). It's very sturdy, we've put it in the dishwasher daily since I got it (months ago) and it's completely fine. We've put it in the microwave quite a few times as well. looks exactly like the image.

My husband and I love Lord of the Rings and joke about Second Breakfast all the time plus my Husband adores coffee. Bought this for our 10th anniversary and he loved it. Super tiny nick in the lettering on the E but other that standard mug with lettering. I hand wash all our dishes and so far lettering has held up to hot coffee and washing even around the E.
