Professional quality copper lug crimping tool
What's there to say other than this tool is very well made, has dies in the crimping end that are easily rotated for at least 8 different sized "barrels" to be crimped and is simplistic to use. It also makes the best mechanical crimps on quality copper lugs that I've ever used in my more than 30 years as an automotive professional.Even though I still solder the wire to the copper lugs and use marine grade shrink tubing over the splice to prevent any contaminant intrusions this tool makes such strong crimps that soldering the splice isn't necessary, assuming the item that's being crimped to wire is itself sturdy/high quality.IF you do a lot of wiring work like I do these are well worth the price! I'm limited to how much & when I can physically function (disabled vet) and much of what I do today revolves around building "resto-mods" (installing modern engines/transmissions along with all wiring, computers/modules etc into older vehicles) for customers of a friend who owns a well regarded shop as I had to sell my shop just over 7 years ago due to my physical issues.Hard to recommend anything any better than I recommend these crimpers! The only thing I wish is that there was ONE set of crimpers available that had different dies to be able to crimp every kind of terminal end found in modern vehicles as I must have at least a half dozen different crimping tools for different kinds of terminal ends, wire gauges etc.

Nice tool, almost great
It's a nice tools for smaller crimps but anything over about 6awg and the dies pinch a sharp barb on the open end of the jaws. You either have to rotate the connecter in the dies to progressively crimp it or come back and flatten the sharp blade it leaves behind so heat shrink will slip over. All in all it does what it should for being the cheapest version I could find.

Exactly as described!
This crimper is exactly what I've been looking for! The price and quality are excellent! Easy to use, crimps are very secure and equal to factory work. While primarily designed for battery cables, I see them working on welding cables and others using crimp-on connectors of the sizes this tool can handle. I highly recommend it!

Big Dawg!
I like the different crimping sizes and it's durable. Not bad for the money. I do a lot of my own work so this is a good tool to have when dealing with 1/0 power wire. Would recommend 👍

Heavy durable tool but crimps are extruded
This tool is heavy and seems to be well made. It will crimp lugs onto your cables and they are secure. The finished crimp leaves a pinch extrusion that sticks up, so they are not pretty. I had to flatten the ridge created by the crimping tool with a hammer. The shrink wrap (if you use ) fits more evenly with less chance of failing due to the ridge created by the die. As a budget tool, It works but could be better.
