Love this! I had read other reviews that talked about washing these towels before the first use (no fabric softener!) and so I did that, then packed it up into the neat little pocket, and took the towel with me on a beach trip. It was perfect! It's small and folds down nicely, so I could tuck it into my pack whether I was walking to the beach or riding a bike, and it was big enough to lay on, absorbent enough to do the job, and also....it's pretty! (I got the blue anchor pattern). Sand shook out of it easily, and it dries in a snap.I love this, and highly recommend these! It's not a typical towel, but that's the whole point: thin, lightweight, dries easily and gets the job done!

These are great all-purpose cloths. I use them as:- chair cover for the dogs (easy wash, fast dry)- beach towel and cover-up (doesn't collect sand like a terry towel)- travel towel (soft to the touch, dry quickly, pack sup very small into an attached pouch)- emergency blanket (big enough to bundle up in - I keep two in the car)- airplane blanket (provide good coverage and warmth; looks sharp!)

The Bordeaux colorway is a very nice gender neutral color. The towel is great for travel, thanks to the integrated pocket. Everything stays nice and neat and compact when tucked away in the integrated pocket, allowing me to utilize the space in my travel pack very efficiently. The towel is HUGE when opened up and is super absorbent. I love multi purpose items. This towel can be used as a towel (duh) or a light blanket to keep you warm, just to name a few.

I LOVE the pattern and its reversible quality. It will definitely soften up after a few washes, and it gets a bit more absorbent then, too.I did find though, that it sheds a lot with use until you wash it about 4 times. It also is not quite as absorbent as other similar towels I have bought. If you're using this as a daily bath towel, that might affect your choice.I do expect that with further use/washings, breaking it in, it will work better and be softer.

This towel is a great, multipurpose, thin cloth. I like the look of the black and white stripes (it's a true white on the light part, not a cream color), and I like how packable it is. I plan to use it for a trip to Australia, both as a light blanket/shawl on the plane, and as beach towel/sarong once I arrive. I can't speak to the durability or longevity, as I have not used or washed it yet, but it seems well made. The only complaint I have is the confusing statement in the description that the item comes with an attached pouch to store it in. I just received the two beach towels yesterday.I purchased lavender and turquoise. They are lovely colors, soft, awesome pattern and as far as I can tell, the weave is very tight which means that it would guard against sand being picked up.I haven’t put them to the test yet but I am planning to on next weeks beach vacation.I also went ahead and washed them right away and they survived a cold water wash and a low setting in the dryer just fine. No tassels intertwined or messed up as one reviewer had mentioned.

These are beautiful towels that dry super fast, but am getting used to the shift from a thick beach towel. Did not soak prior to first use and noticed a lack of absorbancy. I did a little research and did an overnight soak so am curious to see if that makes a difference. They are a great size and I look forward to using them at the beach next week!

I bought these to take to the beach and they did not disappoint. They are absorbent, soft, and lightweight and I was very pleased with the size. The sand shook off of them and I also used mine as a lightweight blanket. Very nice towels!

I sent this back as it was not what I was expecting. its very light weight and not really a towel as such but more of a product you hang on the wall
