Yes, solo over rhythm is one thing you can do with it. You can try things over your rhythm and erase what you don't want or is not quite right. I took a lesson where they recorded multiple sounds over a rhythm sample for effects and not just for solo. Very kewl pedal!

Doesn't Support Extended loop

nice pedal but keep in mind that the loop length is fixed by 1st loop you created. The overdubs should be of exact same lengths as the first loop
