Rösle Stainless Steel Kitchen Strainer, Fine Mesh, 7.9 Inch with Round Handle - Precision Straining for Culinary Perfection

Very fine mesh!! Great for quinoa!! Very well made, with no rivets that rust, the handle is welded on, all stainless steel, and has a bit of heft to it, nice large basket, is pricey but if I add up all the cheap Chinese strainers I've had which didn't last long I could have bought this and have money left over.

This works great! I use it for quinoa, rice, lentils, etc. easy to clean and I love how it sits on the edges of the sink so I can let stuff drain. It is well-made too.

This is a pretty large strainer. Well Constructed. It says stainless steel for most of it but didn't say what screen material was, I'm assuming some type of plated wire? It was deeper than the pan I had it in or otherwise I would have hung it on the edge. Overall I really liked it! Note: It was a bit hard to clean with a dish brush. I finally used a small juicer cleaning brush (looks like a flat tooth brush but wider) and that did the trick.

I did a lot of gnashing of teeth while I was trying to decide if the ginormous cost of this Rosle stainless steel strainer was worth it. My last strainer, which, in hindsight, most likely was a petri dish for tetanus, gave up the ghost over an unfortunate incidence with spinach. In short, I am so very, very glad I purchased this strainer. The gauge of the mesh, the sturdiness of the rim, the comfortable handle, the quality of construction and the fact that it can reach from side to side on my sink, all create a masterpiece of design and usability. Like I said, it was crazy expensive but I honestly don't think I will every need to replace it and it is so much better equipped to do what it should in the first place.

I bought the 7.5 inch but I nearly bought the 9 inch and I'm glad I didn't. The 7.5 inch is exactly the size I needed. It's expensive compared to other similar products but its built well and should outlast me so I think its worth the investment. I've bought other similar products from other vendors and they've always felt flimsy. In fact I have one that is missing its handle because it snapped off. This one feels like it's a very high quality product.

Giving this 4 stars only because it's pricey. Yes, it is made well and has the highly desirable fine mesh. It has the sort of weight to it that sets it apart from any inferior product that you may have owned in the past in this category. It maintains its balance well while you are pouring liquids through it. It cleans easily and is dishwasher safe. The handle size is well planned, neither excessive nor insufficient.

This strainer is made of high quality stainless steel with an extra fine mesh that's good for straining vegetable and fruit juices. You will remove almost all the fibre with this strainer.

This is a dent that cannot be undone. I do like the quality though, but for the overall price, with or without the damage, I would have to reconsider.
