Really wanted to love these pads
I really wanted to love these pads; so much so that I purchased a set in each of 4 different sizes, which I surely should not have done. The good: I chose these pads because they do not have the PUL backing, which causes pads to slide around and restricts air flow, and because the center of the pad is more narrow than other brands, which I thought would reduce the bunching/accordian-style folding in the center. The little wet bag is adorable and well-constructed. The pads themselves are well-constructed also, with sturdy seams and snaps. The dark inner fleece resists and hides any staining. The not-so-good: I expected these pads to be like panty liners, but they are more like mini pads in thickness. Unfortunately, the fleece inner is rather bulky, does not absorb, and it doesn't wick fluid quickly enough into the inner layers. The center, though tapered, is still not very narrow, and between the folds that result from the wide width and the slow wicking, fluid rolls off onto the wings, which are not absorbent. I ended up with blood on my legs and even my pants sometimes where the wings touch them. I think the snaps, even with two settings, are too wide apart for smaller ladies. I have had more leaks with these pads in two cycles than in years of using my old ones, which I made with scraps from sewing pocket diapers 10 years ago. The minky fabric (wings and backing) is rather thick, adding bulk to the pads without increasing absorbency. I keep trying to figure out how I can modify them to make these pads work but have not so far.

Price is right and quality is great
These come in many fun colors and i just love them... very fast delivery, great customer service. They emailed me right away to make sure i got my order and followed again with instructions on best way to use it and how to wash it. for first time buyer.. this is great service and i am glad i got this. They come in four pads and one wet bag. Very soft and absorbent and easy to take care off.. as far as the sliding.. i used a slightly tighter underwear and they didn't slide once. They work well on my light days instead of wearing the heavy bulk ones. I am glad i got them, and the price is also good.

The good: Super soft Very absorbent Two snap sizes Very ...
The good:Super softVery absorbentTwo snap sizesVery Well madeCuteThe not so good:These tend to bunch up and back, causing leaks outside of pad and onto underwear.Thicker than expected. I ordered full size long pads from a different manufacturer and they were much thinner.Overall, there's a lot to like about these pads. I appreciate they are so well made and will last a very long time. I got them to use as liners on light days, but I really think these are best for moderate flow days, but the bunching is problematic for that purpose.

Cute designs, good idea for the environment, not a good fit for me
In addition to the x-small set, I also purchased a set of small size period mate pantiliners. Unfortunately, I've decided to return the small set, which has not been used. I found that the xsmall pantiliners are too bulky for my taste. They bunched up a lot in the center (I am on the thin side, so that may play a role in why it felt too big). They also shifted every time i wore them, always toward the wider end of the liner, even though I wear snug fitting underwear. I tried wearing them in both directions and it didn't matter, they would still shift constantly in that wider direction. I would return the xsmall ones as well, but figured since I had used them, that would not be possible. Perhaps I will try to use them again at my next cycle in hopes they will perform better. I am not even sure how absorbent they are(I received them at the tail end of my period), but I am sonervous about them shifting so much that I'm reluctant to try them at the heaviest days. Maybe if they offered a size that is thinner (both in thickness and in width), it would be less bulky for me. It has not gotten very hot here yet, but I got the feeling that it would also feel too warm in the summertime, as I felt warm wearing it today on a warm spring day.On the plus side, the designs were cute, I love the idea of reusable liners and the material was very soft. I hope they come out with thinner versions.

less waste, and better for my body
I'm still new using these but I thought I would go ahead and at least give a review. I thought I would give these a try for some obvious reasons, saving money, less waste, and better for my body. I do research the companies sometimes that I buy from. I love the fact that this company supports women who are in need of products and support who do not have that. That was a big for me. I can't imagine not having access to products that is needed for personal hygiene. Kudos Period Mate! Us chicks gotta stick together no matter where we are. I love that they come with a dry bag, very handy. They are also really cute. Not that we are taking these around and waving at everyone but the thought is nice :) While for the most part, they are very comfortable, I am very active and walk a lot- up to six miles a day. Even though I have done the smaller underwear as a recommendation, they still move on me a bit and I get a little uncomfortable until I can fix it. Like I said, I'm still new to this so maybe the more I use them, once I figure out a way to get them to stay better, it won't be as much of an issue. Other than that I am happy with them. I know many say, in summer they tend to get very hot. That is actually another reason why I got them honestly. I'm always cold so if you are a cold girl like me...that's a real bonus! Since winter is here it's been helpful. I don't see this being an issue for me when the seasons change. I do recommend these. Despite having to fix them once in a while, it's still way better than buying regular liners and so much more comfortable. Clean up isn't bad either. I do hand wash mine and I dry them on delicate cycle. So far no issues with that either. They are worth the money :)

Too Thick for Everyday Pantyliner, Need Another Alternative
I really wanted to like these. I wanted these for an everyday pantyliner but these make me really sweat and even with tight underwear and pantyhose they slide and don't want to stay in place. These are too thick for an everyday pantyliner. I can't seem to find a thinner alternative that isn't disposable and laced with chemicals. If anyone has found a washable pantyliner thin enough for everyday use that stays in place I would definitely like to know.
