long, smelly process but it’s worth it!!
I’ve used this twice now and would recommend it. It is a long and smelly process but the results are worth it to me. I have that annoying middle-ground curly hair where I can get it to curl kind of nice with lots of product and plopping but also takes a good amount of flat ironing to get the frizz out if I want to wear it straight. I have DREAMED about being able to just blow dry my hair and have it look decent and this actually gave me that! Here was my process: 1- double shampoo with clarifying shampoo. 2- blow dry hair completely (no products) 3- wearing gloves, I apply the treatment with a brush. I separated my hair into four sections and after all my hair was covered, I combed it through and let it sit for an hour. —- here comes the miserable part—- 4- I used paper towel to try to absorb any excess product, then used my blow dryer brush to blow dry. This takes A LONG TIME. In the summer I do it outside but in winter I set up in front of my patio door with a mirror and a fan blowing straight at me to try to blow the fumes outside. I still wear gloves when I am blow drying. 5- I set my flat iron at 430 and in small sections make SEVERAL passes over each section (maybe 8-10 times each section). The fumes are the worst during this part. Once I’m done flat ironing, I collapse in exhaustion. Just kidding, but seriously you have to be committed to this and set aside 3-5 hours. Apparently you can wash your hair right away again after flat ironing but I try to wait 48 hours to “lock it in”. Whether it actually makes a difference, I’m not sure, but after putting a whole evening into doing this, I just want to be done. I’ve attached two pictures of the fuzzball that is my hair after blow drying before, another picture after I completed the process, and lastly after the first was with just using a blow dryer - no flat ironing! I will say that I find I have to wash my hair more frequently after doing the treatment because I feel like it gets greasy faster, but the fact that I can take 3 minutes blow drying my hair and it looking like I flat ironed it is incredible to me. I use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to prolonge the results (I like the EverPure line from L’Oréal or the Native brand.) TLDR - mentally prepare yourself for a long, smelly process but it’s worth it!!

Dramatically changed my hair, even after a month!
I was lazy and put off this review, but it’s been about a month and my hair is almost as glossy & frizz free as when I first did the treatment. So I expect that next time I do it, the results will be even better! I naturally have a lot of wavy, frizzy, tangled prone hair. After using this product however, I don’t really have these issues anymore. It’s very manageable now, and I have less breakage. My hair is also very strong and straight. All my little flyaways & baby hairs do not curl up and look crazy in humidity anymore. Before I would use a ton of hairspray to try to tame the flyways, but the results could not even compare to what this product does for my hair. While using this product I personally do not wash my hair until I have to. Despite the instructions saying you can immediately. I like to wait as long as I can before washing. There is one downside though, my hair used to have a lot of natural volume. I could flip my hair a few times and have incredible volume. But now it stays flat unless I use a root spray. My hair also has difficulty with holding curls now even with styling products. Another issue is a lot of my wavy hair products I used before that worked well on my hair, now weigh down my hair a ton and no longer work for me. I also have to wash my hair more frequently now, I used to be able to go almost a full week without washing. My hair now gets noticeably greasy after 2-3 days. I figured I would mention this because I was expecting it to be more sleek, and shiny, with less flyways. But it actually changed the texture, appearance, and the way my hair normally acts. If you are a proud wavy/curly girl, I’m not sure if you want to use this because it may permanently change that for you! I personally don’t mind it because I hated dealing with my hair before, looking forward to my next treatment. I probably have a good 5 treatments left too, so it’s worth the price! Make sure to use gloves, and apply in a well ventilated area. Not only do you not want to breath in the fumes, but they can also irritate your eyes! Next time I do mine, I’m going to do it outside. Edit (follow): It’s now November 2023, and I’m still a fan of this product. The chemicals are very strong but I’ve done about 4 spaced out treatments so far since I got it. And the parts that are treated look different from my natural hair. I now have a long lasting Pantene commercial shine on my hair. Staying it has become a bit more difficult now because my hair is now stays straighter and is more “slippery” than normal. So it no longer holds a curl like it used to without either doing it overnight or using a lot of heat. Overtime it’s become a lot less frizzy and naturally more manageable. I also still have a good portion of the bottle left (about 6 treatments I would say!) The chemicals do burn the eyes though so I normally do this outside or in a room with the window/fan on with a mask because it’s intense. But the effect it has on my hair is just worth it to me.

Love it so far!!
My hair is constantly reverting back after a press out, sometimes within hours. Because of this I decided to give this a try and I’m so glad I did! I have coarse 3c/4a high porosity hair. When it is humid outside my hair reverts to curly everytime. However this product has already shown great results. My hair has been straight for the past 48 hours which is RARE for me. I have not washed my hair but I have taken a shower and still my hair is straight. I’m so happy with this! For the product I did buy their clarifying shampoo and I followed the instructions by keeping this product on for 60 minutes. PLEASE KNOW when you blow this out you MUST be in a well ventilated area because the FUMES almost knocked me out. But tbh it was worth it. I have tape ins in but because of the treatment you can barely tell where my hair stars and the extensions begin! I will be using this product again! I love it so far!!

Yes yes and yes
So good! Follow the directions on the bottle. TikToc will tell you rinse your hair before blow drying. Don't do that. Wash your hair, apply, wait, blow dry, flat iron. Perfection!!! Also blow dry and flat iron outside. I used my reflection in a window as my mirror.

Highly recommend!
Me and my mom tried this product the other day and WOW. My natural hair texture is coarse, pretty thick and would say i have mostly wavy hair with a few curls if i reallyyyyy work in products and don’t touch it. It’s very rare for my hair to remain frizz free without either a ton of products (which usually leave my hair feeling heavy and oily) or a ton of high heat & tension. I noticed my hair had become very brittle leaving it hard to manage and to leave natural no matter what products i used and almost never touching my hair to heat. So i decided to give this a try as it is also supposed to be really good for your hair! First image is my hair air dried natural (before product) and the last pic is my hair air dryed after using this product. My hair is now so silky smooth, dries faster and so manageable! I am still able to work with my hair, curl it, style it, it’s just easier now, lasts longer & i don’t have to use as much heat. I washed with a clarifying shampoo twice, worked in the product on damp hair, I left it in for 45 mins (time recommended is on bottle) then blow dried with my Revlon & straightened it on 410. I wound up leaving it in my hair a full day like that before washing like normal. here are my only cons: the smell/fumes during the blow drying/straightening process and how long drying takes while product is in hair. We knew going into this that this comes with the process, but it did actually really burn our eyes & throats and made us cough pretty bad. Next time we will just do this part in a better ventilated room or outside. It’s worth it for the end result! Highly recommend and don’t regret it!

LOVE! Soft, Smooth + Frizz Free Hair 🙂
First, this WORKS. I have very thick Curly/Wavy hair that will frizz the second there’s humidity in the air. I’ve been blowing out my hair since I was 13 (I’m 40)… I’ve mastered the blow out but there’s no cream, spray or serum that will stop my hair from frizzing + curling in the humid NE summers. I first ordered this last year and just ordered another bottle. My hair is just below my shoulders (very thick) and I got 4 uses out of it. I’ve paid $250-500 each for professional Relaxers, Japanese Straightening, Brazilian Blowouts and Keratin Treatments for over 20 years. This works just as well as the last Keratin Treatment I had done in a salon for less than $10 per treatment. I personally can’t stand sitting in a salon chair for hours and for $400+ difference, I’m more than happy to do it myself. It’s ready to use out of the bottle. You need gloves, an applicator brush, comb, blow dryer and straightener. There is a strong chemical smell blow drying/straightening when the products basically burning off but I’ve never had a negative reaction and my hair is undoubtedly in better condition after. I’ve left it in for 24hrs and 48hrs and had the same outcome so I do think you can actually wash it as soon as you like. This relaxes and smooths my hair; it still has wave to it but ZERO frizz. Like hair color, how long it lasts depends on how fast your hair grows, how often you wash it and what you wash it with. My hair grows fast, I wash it every other day only using Sulfate Free Shampoo half the time and it lasts a good 8-10 weeks. For the price, convenience of doing it myself and the end result… softer, more manageable, frizz free hair, this is an easy 5 stars. Highly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

GOODBYE FRIZZ, HELLO STRAIGHT HAIR! Purchase NOW!!
First off, all the negative reviews in here which wasn’t a lot made me laugh. From not using gloves, not using heat and her hair staying curly to scalp being on fire to the keratin not lasting. My favorite one was someone complaining about the formaldehyde. This bottle does not say formaldehyde free anywhere on it. This brand I believe has a Formaldehyde free one. Just takes a few seconds to read. If this is your first time ever doing a keratin treatment on yourself, it is important that you read the directions and follow them to a T. (NO EXCEPTIONS). I’ve done keratin on myself before with a different brand I don’t have access too anymore because I need a cosmetology license. I only have a full specialist one. I did like that this was available on Amazon and it’s for professional use and doesn’t require a license to purchase. On to the keratin…. You must have clarifying shampoo. This strips all the oils, minerals and dirt your hair collects over time from all the hair products and even shampoo and conditioner you use. Wash your hair two times. After I washed my hair, because I bleach and dye the front of my hair and I like having that fresh color look, I went ahead and put my dye on my hair. I use pulp riot and artic fox which are both semi permanent. Once my hair color was done sitting, I washed only this section of my hair with cold water while the back continued to air dry. I then towel dried my entire hair. The instructions on the bottle says to section your hair into 4. The only thing I did different because I’m so particular about each strand of my hair was. I decided to put the keratin piece by piece. When applying it you don’t have to worry so much about the fumes. That comes with the heat. I did this is my bathroom which only has that small window to the outside. I opened up the window and had a small desk fan blowing at my face while I put this on. Just so I wouldn’t be breathing anything directly. I used gloves, a fine comb brush and a dye brush. For each small section I grabbed, I made sure I did not get anywhere close to the scalp. You scalp doesn’t need these chemicals on it. Apply the keratin an inch away from the scalp. At least a horizontal finger away from the scalp. I then brushed it with the fine comb to make sure every strand had product. I also wanted to ensure I did not put too much product. After doing my entire head. I sat on the couch to relax for 20 mins to let the keratin sit for a bit on my hair before putting heat over it. Fine/Colored Hair: 20 minutes Medium/Coarse Hair: 35 minutes Virgin/Resistant Hair: 40 minutes My hair is not fine, it’s on the coarse side but since it is colored I did the 20 mins. Headed back to the bathroom. Made sure the window was still open, a big fan on the floor by the door blowing TOWARDS the window and the other small desk fan on the sink. Grabbed the blow dryer and I made sure whatever section I was going to be blow drying, that the heat would be blown the same direction as the fans were blowing which was towards the window outside. This is of course what helped ME not to inhale fumes or my eyes get watery. I didn’t blow dry every section perfectly cause the flat iron is what’s going to give you the straight perfect hair we curly haired girls want. After blow drying I then went to ironing my hair, small section by section. Again making sure the direction of the fan and fumes went with the air. Sometimes I would hold by breath for a few seconds if I was doing the front of my hair. Not because I had too but just to be safer with this product and inhalation. If I ever felt I needed some fresh air, you can stop and step out of the area you’re working in and go take a quick break. I didn’t feel I had too since I had the fans right on my face. If anything I would put my face closer to the fan to get fresh air. Once done keep in mind not to tie your hair or put any clips, etc to it. It will leave those indentations after you wash your hair in 2-4 days, So just don’t! I style my hair by doing side bangs, so that’s how I blow dried and ironed my hair. You should do your hair accordingly. Once done it’s normal to feel your hair a tiny bit…. I don’t wanna say greasy because it’s not greasy but like you have a bit of a shiny product in your head because, well…. You do. The longer your hair the longer this may take. The bottle also brings enough to do several treatments. I should have enough for the next year or year in a half. This is not an exaggeration. This depends on how well you maintain your hair and re do the treatment. You shouldn’t need to redo it for at least 2-5 months. Again depending on your hair type and how you maintain it. If you don’t use sulfate free shampoo and conditioner, this won’t last as long. Same if you wash your hair every single day. If you don’t use sulfate free shampoo I would guess this would last perhaps a month or so depending how much you wash your hair. It’s not like the treatment is going to wash off completely if you don’t use sulfate free on one wash. With this being said read the labels from the shampoo you buy. I have bought sulfate free labeled shampoo that has sulfates in it. Your ingredient list on the bottle is your bff. Check for names like Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate (ALS), or Ammonium Laureth Sulfate (ALES). If you don't see these, the shampoo is likely sulfate-free. I usually don’t wash my hair for 48-72 hours after the keratin but when you do wash it, you’ll notice your hair dries quickly and looks just as good as day one. No frizz under this Florida heat and humidity. I normally do keratin on my hair every 4-5 months and then I’ll take a break after a while. I have attached pictures of my front colored hair and the back for reference after the keratin and of course my natural curly hair. Definitely would purchase this product again. Don’t let the negative reviews scare you from having great frizz free hair. You have to know what you are doing and again, read Instructions!! Having a fan blowing towards your face is your best friend during this process. No watery eyes or symptoms of burning for me while I did this. ❤️❤️

Causes massive breakage and loss
Dont do it! If you enjoy your hair, please read my experience. My hair was all the way down past my waist. I never use a hairdryer. I never use a curling iron. I have not died nor colored my hair in the past 10 years. I bought this because I am growing older, and my hair is becoming more frizzy and kinky… I still have really sick volume of hair… Had My hair was extremely healthy and I worked hard to get it long and enjoy having long hair I use this product one time. I still have about a half of a bottle to 2/3 of the bottle left after one treatment. My hair volume is not even half of what it was before this treatment. I applied the product July 3. Everything seemed fine for a couple of months. Then I started noticing hair loss and thought it was due to stress or maybe hormones. One day, I stood looking in the mirror when the sunlight was in the perfect position to highlight all of the broken ends all the way up Onto my head. Then I realized this is not hormonal. This is hair, breaking off and falling out… Hard to tell when you’re in the shower if the hair has a follicle on it or not, but these hairs do not break out from the scalp. They are just brittle breaking off… I’ve lost so much of my hair that all is left is what used to make up 1/3 of the volume when you grab the ponytail If I braid my hair now, it looks anemic. I can’t even braid it, so I’m just putting oil on it and wearing it in a bun until I decide if I’m going to cut all of my hair off… Years of growing and nurturing my hair ruined. The warnings that I saw online when I researched this product before using it did not say it causes your hair to break off. I did not see that anywhere all it’s talked about was health concerns. Do not do this to yourself. It is not worth taking the chance I will be informing the FDA as well. Nothing against this company. I’m sure it’s a great product for some people who have hair like horse hair, but I do not. Do you?
