Silky Happy!
Great product, easy to use. Processed for 60 mins, blow dried in large room vs bathroom for good ventilation, flat ironed in bathroom as smoke/smell was tolerable. I am 61 with dry frizzy hair, happy with results and hoping after first wash still looks great and last for a few months.

if you’re thinking about it, just get it.
i have 3a hair and have had to straighten my hair practically forever so after seeing some videos about this product i decided to give it a try and i will be using this product from now on. usually washing/blow drying/straightening my hair is a 2ish hour process and now i can hop right out of the shower, let my hair air dry or blow dry and touch it up with a straightener in 20 minutes. my frizz is gone and my hair is about 90% straight after one use. hair looks shinier and my hair doesn’t feel damaged after use.the application process took me about 3-3.5 hours from initial wash with clarifying shampoo, application and sitting time, blow drying and straightening. blow drying is a long process and definitely stinks and can burn your eyes so good ventilation and a decent sized room i would definitely recommend. but overall, i found the process 100% worth it. i bought the smaller bottle and i have about 20-22 inches of hair and i still have enough product to do this 3-4 more times.i dont think i would recommend for children because the fumes are very strong.

Silky,smooth hair after First Use
Título (en inglés): Silky, Smooth Hair After First UseEnglish review: The Keratin Smooth has impressed me. From the first use, my hair felt softer, easier to manage, and with less frizz. It has a lightweight texture that doesn’t leave the hair greasy or heavy, and the scent is pleasant without being overpowering. After several weeks of use, my hair looks healthier, shinier, and more salon-like.It’s great for dry, damaged, or frizzy hair because it improves texture and makes styling much easier. I highly recommend it for regular use, as the results become even better over time.

used this product on my sister and she loves it!! it looks beautiful. i’ll def be doing this on myself too but just be careful when using it bc the fumes are insane. my eyes kept burning so bad. i recommend using safety glasses and a mask when doing the treatment. 10/10 product though. i definitely will be repurchasing!!

Incredible results, but the fumes are intense! Follow instructions closely.
This product absolutely delivers on its promises, but you have to be prepared for the process! If you follow the instructions exactly as written, the results are incredible. My hair looks fantastic, and the effects easily last anywhere from 3 to 5 months, which makes the effort well worth it.The only major downside—and the reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5—is the fumes. They are incredibly strong and harsh. They made my eyes water instantly, and the chemical smell is just too intense to handle indoors. I actually have to blow dry my hair out on the balcony just to make it tolerable. If you are going to use this, I highly recommend doing it in a very well-ventilated area (or outside if possible) and taking your time with the steps. If you can get past the rough application process, the long-lasting results are totally worth it!

Dramatically changed my hair, even after a month!
I was lazy and put off this review, but it’s been about a month and my hair is almost as glossy & frizz free as when I first did the treatment. So I expect that next time I do it, the results will be even better!I naturally have a lot of wavy, frizzy, tangled prone hair. After using this product however, I don’t really have these issues anymore. It’s very manageable now, and I have less breakage. My hair is also very strong and straight. All my little flyaways & baby hairs do not curl up and look crazy in humidity anymore. Before I would use a ton of hairspray to try to tame the flyways, but the results could not even compare to what this product does for my hair. While using this product I personally do not wash my hair until I have to. Despite the instructions saying you can immediately. I like to wait as long as I can before washing. There is one downside though, my hair used to have a lot of natural volume. I could flip my hair a few times and have incredible volume. But now it stays flat unless I use a root spray. My hair also has difficulty with holding curls now even with styling products. Another issue is a lot of my wavy hair products I used before that worked well on my hair, now weigh down my hair a ton and no longer work for me. I also have to wash my hair more frequently now, I used to be able to go almost a full week without washing. My hair now gets noticeably greasy after 2-3 days.I figured I would mention this because I was expecting it to be more sleek, and shiny, with less flyways. But it actually changed the texture, appearance, and the way my hair normally acts. If you are a proud wavy/curly girl, I’m not sure if you want to use this because it may permanently change that for you!I personally don’t mind it because I hated dealing with my hair before, looking forward to my next treatment. I probably have a good 5 treatments left too, so it’s worth the price!Make sure to use gloves, and apply in a well ventilated area. Not only do you not want to breath in the fumes, but they can also irritate your eyes! Next time I do mine, I’m going to do it outside.Edit (follow):It’s now November 2023, and I’m still a fan of this product. The chemicals are very strong but I’ve done about 4 spaced out treatments so far since I got it. And the parts that are treated look different from my natural hair. I now have a long lasting Pantene commercial shine on my hair. Staying it has become a bit more difficult now because my hair is now stays straighter and is more “slippery” than normal. So it no longer holds a curl like it used to without either doing it overnight or using a lot of heat. Overtime it’s become a lot less frizzy and naturally more manageable. I also still have a good portion of the bottle left (about 6 treatments I would say!) The chemicals do burn the eyes though so I normally do this outside or in a room with the window/fan on with a mask because it’s intense. But the effect it has on my hair is just worth it to me.

NOT FORMALDEHYDE FREE- TERRIBLE UNBEARABLE FUMES
NOT FORMALDEHYDE FREE. this comes up when you search for formaldehyde free keratin treatment and it is not. I didn’t check the ingredients because I already searched formaldehyde free so why wouldn’t it be right? WRONG. The fumes on this are so bad. I don’t know how anyone can tolerate it.I don’t use air conditioning. I had all my windows and doors fully open with 3 fans on full blast and it was still burning my eyes while I was applying it. I pushed through, but once I started blow drying, it got 10x worse. My nose started burning and running, and when I tried wearing a mask, it actually made it worse. My eyes were red, burning, and watering like crazy.I tried to push through but I just couldn’t. I had my eyes closed, held my breath and it was still burning my eyes and nose unbearably. So I ended up with half my head blowdried and the other half I just rinsed out. The side I didn’t blow dry feels nice and soft while the other side feels super rough and dry. I will update after a few days. For reference: My hair is 3b 3c. Has been bleached so my natural pattern is more of a 3c 4a. I haven’t bleached my hair in over a year.I also wanted to mention that I have a pretty high pain tolerance I’ve been bitten by wasps, get migraines, endometriosis cramping…etc. but I cannot describe the irritation of those fumes and I would rather have all those other things at once than ever go through that again.Definitely avoid this and try to find one that is formaldehyde-free.

long, smelly process but it’s worth it!!
I’ve used this twice now and would recommend it. It is a long and smelly process but the results are worth it to me. I have that annoying middle-ground curly hair where I can get it to curl kind of nice with lots of product and plopping but also takes a good amount of flat ironing to get the frizz out if I want to wear it straight. I have DREAMED about being able to just blow dry my hair and have it look decent and this actually gave me that! Here was my process:1- double shampoo with clarifying shampoo.2- blow dry hair completely (no products)3- wearing gloves, I apply the treatment with a brush. I separated my hair into four sections and after all my hair was covered, I combed it through and let it sit for an hour.—- here comes the miserable part—-4- I used paper towel to try to absorb any excess product, then used my blow dryer brush to blow dry. This takes A LONG TIME. In the summer I do it outside but in winter I set up in front of my patio door with a mirror and a fan blowing straight at me to try to blow the fumes outside. I still wear gloves when I am blow drying.5- I set my flat iron at 430 and in small sections make SEVERAL passes over each section (maybe 8-10 times each section). The fumes are the worst during this part.Once I’m done flat ironing, I collapse in exhaustion. Just kidding, but seriously you have to be committed to this and set aside 3-5 hours. Apparently you can wash your hair right away again after flat ironing but I try to wait 48 hours to “lock it in”. Whether it actually makes a difference, I’m not sure, but after putting a whole evening into doing this, I just want to be done. I’ve attached two pictures of the fuzzball that is my hair after blow drying before, another picture after I completed the process, and lastly after the first was with just using a blow dryer - no flat ironing! I will say that I find I have to wash my hair more frequently after doing the treatment because I feel like it gets greasy faster, but the fact that I can take 3 minutes blow drying my hair and it looking like I flat ironed it is incredible to me. I use sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner to prolonge the results (I like the EverPure line from L’Oréal or the Native brand.)TLDR - mentally prepare yourself for a long, smelly process but it’s worth it!!

Amazing results but make sure your room is well ventilated
I have incredibly thick and curly hair prone to frizz, I have tried a few products and this has been by far the most effective. My tips are to ensure the space is extremely well ventilated, because the fumes from this are really strong and the chemicals in the fumes are not good for you. I wore gloves, ear covers, a face mask, a towel covering the back of my neck, and if you have sensitive eyes wear goggles as it does make your eyes run when blow drying/ straightening. You need a clarifying shampoo to use first (skip conditioner), and then work the product through your damp hair in sections, I left it on for an hour for full effect (put hair in a shower cap and chill for an hour, there weren’t any fumes until I had to brow dry so it was okay) and then blow dried on a cool setting (less fumes on a cool setting) before straightening with my GHDs (you need very hot straighteners for this to work). I straightened each section of hair 5 times. The thing I like about this product is that you can wash it straight away after (normally you have to leave it on your hair for 3 days!) so it’s nice to know that you wash all the chemicals out after the treatment is done (use sulfate free shampoo). You can feel the change of the texture of your hair even when wet, and it’s so much quicker and smoother to blow dry. Also the bottle is huge and you only need a small amount per treatment so it’s going to last me ages… This product is the best I have used, however note that it’s not formeldyhyde free (which is probably why it works so well!) so use precautions to be safe with it (use in well ventilated area and avoid contact with your skin.). You do get amazing results with this.
