Yes, they can be machine washed! Just make sure you wash it separately, inside-out, and in cold water. DO NOT put it in the dryer.

Q: Which pillowcases are softest and silkiest?

27 momme is the BEST, hands down! I have both the 27 and the 22 momme pillowcases from TAFTS. They are both excellent quality but the higher momme count will give you more saturated color and sheen and a more dense fabric that is softer to the touch. Either way you can’t go wrong buying from this company. Over the last year or two I have bought a few silk pillowcases from various companies and so far TAFTS has never disappointed, not once. Their packaging is nothing fancy but who cares if the product inside is absolute perfection, right? One can always get a nice gift box if desired. Can’t sleep on the gift box, it’s the contents that make or break the deal imo.
