FEL-PRO 3157 Gasket Making Material

Worked perfectly as intended. I used my wife’s cricut to cut the carb gaskets for my 1979 MGB. It is a little thicker than the original gasket but works perfectly. The material is super durable and flexible. The sheet was large enough to cut a ton of gaskets and will probably use it to make more gaskets in the future. Great value for the money.

I was installing an old pump on my air compressor's tank so I figured I would open it up and clean up the bore and inspect piston\rings. To my surprise the "head" gasket set was over $50 (two gaskets). This fit the bill perfectly. It did take a bit of time to trace the outline of the head and valve plate (the old gasket was destroyed upon removal) but I am very happy with how it turned out. I saved over $40, have extra material left over for more gaskets and the pump works great. I used a very sharp blade as well as some good scissors. I had better results with the scissors. For the bolt holes I tried a drill bit but caused too much fraying. Then I tried a standard single hole punch and it worked much better. This definitely beats waiting a week for a gasket that can cost as much as $25\pop.

Couldn't find this at any of the local stores and I didn't want to use the gasket maker and end up with a mess. Used it to seal up an older air compressor and its working perfectly. The only minor annoyance is the material wants to roll back up after you unroll it but this is the only minor complaint.

I’m working on a vintage Ford pick up truck and it’s sometimes challenging to find gaskets. This material is great because I can make my own gaskets anytime I need them. The gasket material is the correct thickness, easy to cut and my repairs were wrapped up quickly without any leaks. Highly recommended. Even if you don’t need it right now, you might as well buy some because you’re gonna eventually need it when working on a vintage car or truck.

Always helpful to have some gasket making material around instead of paying for a pre-cut replacement (and putting your project on hold while you wait for it to arrive). I’ve always had good luck with this Fel-Pro gasket material.

I made an extremely intricate gasket for an outboard, worked perfectly,I will only be using this brand of gasket maker, I have tried other brands bought on Amazon and they're absolute garbage ,this one did not leak ,absolutely perfect.

Primero hice el molde de la junta y posteriormente lo calque al material para juntas, es facil de cortar, utilice una navaja para cortes precisos. Ya coloque la junta y hasta ahorita va sin fugas.
