Lymeez 3D Mesh Tick Repelling Gaiters

They seem to work, and the new model stays on better
My wife got a previous version of these for me for walking the dog through the woods and tall grass. They worked well, but when I brought them on an overnight hike on Vermont's Long Trail, I lost one hiking up Jay Peak. I liked them, so I bought this item as a replacement. The hook-and-loop attachment on this version is sturdier and they hold better as a result. I've never gotten a tick on me when I use them (and I get them sometimes without). I can't prove that they work, but it feels safer to wear them. It's a little more work to put them on, but the extra work is worth it if they don't fall off.

Easy to use
I use while walking through my woods. Used them twice, no ticks so far.

Nice Gaiters!
These leg gaiters are very comfortable, and easy to use. So far, I have found not a single tick after wearing them. My only (minor) complaint is that the velcro "hook" strip attaches directly to the outer material of the gaiter, making the closure light (unlike the standard velcro "hook & loop", which holds on for dear life), and is prone to loosening, especially if it is brushed against something while foraging. Still a great idea, and not uncomfortable in warm weather. Much easier to keep clean than traditional gaiters that have a strap which goes under the arch at the bottom of your footwear, and can get muddy very quickly.

Great for tick repulsion
This is a great product and with the new design the gaiters stay on very well, I love them! I wear these whenever I go hiking or do yard work and they work great to minimize ticks, which provides great peace of mind here in the northeast. This company is sincere in creating an excellent product and improved their design so the gaiters stay strapped on strongly during activity.

Right gaitor keeps falling off
Interesting product but I was disappointed. The problem is that the right gaitor easily falls off my leg because the attachment material (the green material) is not actually velcro. The attachment material that was used on the left gaitor does appear to be velcro and it remained attached while I worked in thick brush for about an hour.Note to manufacture. You need to use real velcro on the right gaitor.

Ticks are a problem here
This year's new model of Lymeez has much improved Velcro fasteners compared to the previous models. I am happy with them. I still use a supplemental pyrethrin spray, because well, ticks are a problem here. I am an averaged sized male adult, and a S/M has served me well. I wear them over my 8" boots. If they could just repel rattlesnakes...

After a spring and summer in WI woods— no ticks attached to me.. they work!
I have a forested acreage in northern Wisconsin where I do a lot of wood & brush cutting and land maintenance in the spring and summer (spring is high tick season as we call it..lots of wood and deer ticks) I see plenty of high grass and weeds filled with ticks. Typically I spray with 40%+ DEET and hope for the best which is to minimize the number of ticks for the day of work. This year I received these Lymeez gaiters as a gift and I will say my buddy who owns the acreage next door thought I was nuts to not use any DEET but long story short, they worked great! Not a single tick attached to date, a couple that I noticed on the gaiters looked very confused and obviously didn’t want to be where they were. The material is comfortable, they look.. nice I guess — albeit a bit strange at first if you’re not familiar. Velcro worked and continues to work well. They say they can be washed without losing potency but I haven’t.Good quality item wouldn’t hesitate to buy again.

Could use better attachment
Function well, easy to put on. Could use maybe a tie securment one top to prevent peeling off well walking through brush
