Q: I just received my brush and it gives off significant dust when I run my hands over it... afraid to use. Is this normal?

Q: I thought bronze was a mixture of copper & tin, not copper & zinc as stated in your listing. copper & zinc would be brass, not bronze. which is this?

Q: how often to replace brush?

Depending on how diligent you keep up with cleaning after use/much use, the brush can last for months or years even. If improperly used and frayed or bent bristles are noticed, replace brush. Never wet wood.
