I bought these for a summer camp for kids. They worked very well. They are the cheapest quality you could probably possibly buy for this instrument, but for four days, they worked out perfectly. When a kid would lose one, no biggie… They’re so cheap that it didnt really matter- here’s another one kid!

I bought these for the shoe boxes that we pack. They fit into the boxes and have a really good sound! I will definitely buy these again!

I wanted cheap recorders because I had quite a few students. These were cheap. They came quickly. Each one comes with its own plastic sleeve & a rod for cleaning. They sound like cheap plastic toys but they play the notes well enough to be able to recognize what is being played. These are good for just teaching the basics. The students were told they could purchase their own recorder if they wanted a better sound but these worked fine for learning a few basic songs. You do get what you pay for though; if you want something that looks nicer and/or sounds more musical, you will need to look elsewhere & pay more than what these cost, but these are great for the price.

Love this idea for birthday gifts for the kids. I bought these with a plan to give away as gifts to the nephews and nieces along with some other musical items. When they came they are all individually packaged in their own sleeve which is just plastic and no button but keeps it all in one spot. They all also come with cleaning wands so that you can clean the inside of the recorder between uses, what a great idea. They are great quality for the price and glad I got them.

These are very cheaply made, and the pitch is slightly off from a nicer recorder. Still served their purpose.

Some reviews I have seen has said that these are not worth while to get. I have purchased these and I use them for my elementary music classes. I have taught my students how to use and they are made well enough to teach with. They are three pieced recorders so cleaning is easy. If you are concerned about longevity, then these might not be for you. I will be buying these again in the future!

Bought these for my students to purchase for home practice. They are recorders and they are cheap. Sound is harder to produce for beginners and sound quality is not good. Similarly priced products work better. Also, the individual sleeves came torn and shacked because they are also cheaply made. Decent party favors, maybe.... for parents you hate!

These recorders are cheap, and that's all they have going for them. The are inconsistent, out of tune, poorly built, and sound terrible. On a set of 12, it would be well worth the extra $30-70 to get high quality Yamaha recorders from here or your local music story. The YRS-20 series is excellent and comes in an array of colors. If you need bulk recorders on a budget, however, this deal can't be beaten.
