You have here a good color selection and ink that dries fast, given a full minute to be safe. If you want to color with them, I say try it. Place a scrap piece of paper underneath what you're coloring though cause there will likely be bleed through.If you want to avoid smearing and smudging in general then try a drawing glove. It'll leave the thumb and fingers you hold the pen, pencil etc with free and reduce smudging and smearing. Here's a link. Will these bleed when underlining in Bibles with thinner paper?

I’ve used InkJoy (ballpoint) pens in my study Bibles for years. But the gel ink is not waterproof. The gel ink doesn’t bleed (even the thinner paged-Bible, you can see there’s writing on the other side but you can also see the typed text lightly through the back too, it’s still easy to read the page.

But all it took was a droplet of water to clear off part of 3 notes through 5 pages. Glad I found out while I was still in Genesis lol. I have a pretty, green watermarks now, the prior ballpoint ink didn’t shift.

Has the clicky part ever gotten stuck or fallen out? In past experiences with other brands of pens, this was the case.
