I read all the reviews. I did not see that it was Monochrome. Gutted I have set it up already and the box is gone. At this price point and in 2023 I did not expect it to be possibly only Black and White. So upset!

I've been looking for this model in specific ... work just fine and helped me alot with my children school requirements.

Very Very Very Very late delivery the product is Good and as mentioned

The HP LaserJet Pro M428fdw is an impressive multifunctional laser printer that is packed with features. Not only can it print, copy, scan, and fax, but it also has dual-band Wi-Fi for easy connectivity. The print speed is lightning-fast at up to 38 ppm (black), and the auto duplex printing saves time and paper. The M428fdw also boasts best-in-class security features, with embedded security measures to detect and stop attacks. This gives me peace of mind knowing that my MFP is protected from potential threats. In addition, the printer uses Original HP Toner cartridges (HP 59A/X family) to avoid frustrating reprints, wasted supplies, and service calls. It's worth noting that this printer is intended to work only with cartridges that have original HP chips or circuitry, and periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures. Overall, the HP LaserJet Pro M428fdw is an exceptional printer that delivers both performance and security. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable and versatile MFP for their home or office.

We've used Brother all-in-one printer scanners for years but they appear to be discontinuing their stock. We opted for this HP and found it very poor in terms of scanning. Half of the time only 6 sheets would scan out of 10 via the auto feeder. Printing pdfs (more than 1 page) and word files was also not possible due to driver issues. We've resurrected our old Brother all-in-one and aren't looking back. This HP is meant to be a new and improved model. Poor scanner akin to 1990s era

as described

I now have had 5 HP LaserJet over the years. And never did I ever have any problems with my old reliable LaserJet My office needed a hi-speed LaserJet that could print both letter and legal in the same print job. And my print jobs average 200 pages. So I chose the HP LaserJet Pro MFP M428fdw, and purchased the 3rd tray for only legal size paper, while dedicating tray 2 for letter sized paper. And let me tell you, this printer is amazing! I download the file and save it to my computer. Then I open the printer software and print. It's that easy. The printer sees the size of the page to print and pulls from the correct tray every time. This printer is installed via wifi to my computer and the connection speed and print speed is great, no lags at all. I then take the documents to my client's home to get them signed. Then it's back to the office where I use the incredible "scan to computer" feature to create 200 page PDFs (of both letter and legal size scans) to email back to the lender. I've run almost 2500 pages through this process since I bought the printer a couple weeks ago. My workflow productivity has increased at least 50%. What a great printer this is! Thanks HP. Get yourself one, you won't ever be disappointed. You just cannot beat the reliability and simplicity of this workhorse.
