Hi, this item ebs001 is universal version can work on most dc12v cars with plastic bumper, if your 2000 Toyota Solara is with metal bumper, please don't buy it as the radar sensor can't pass though the metal bumpers. Besides, due to complexity of installation of this item, which required to be installed by a professional car audio installer or trained audio installer if you have no such kind of products installation experience, please check if you can find one or not before purchasing. And you can find an audio installer in your local town or search “car audio installation” on amazon or internet to find the installer nearby. If you like, we can send the user manual and wire diagram to you for study so that you can check with your installer. Q: What is the right location and high to install the sensor, and waht is the use for the green wire

Hi, the radar sensor is recommend to mount on left and right of rear vehicle with 55-90cm height from the ground, there is this info in the user manual about where the sensor is recommend to install. if you like, we can send it to you for study.
