Good product
I've been using Roux eyelash tint for years, but when I couldn't find it on Amazon anymore, I ordered this one. It's easy to apply to my lashes, doesn't take long, and is quite dark for my blond lashes. A couple of tips: As someone else said, the applicator wands are too thick and cumbersome to apply the liquid (step #1) as delicately as you need to. You want to be able to get all the way to the base of the lashes so they look naturally dark. A tooth-pick wrapped in a bit of cotton works well instead. It would be nice if there were stain remover included. I still have some from my Roux tint. I don't know what's in it, but no doubt a commercial beauty supply store has something that would work. I dispensed with the under-eye covers as being too much trouble. Just take your time and be careful. Someone else suggested using vaseline on the skin. That would work, but any lashes with vaseline won't take the dye. The solution for step 1 is quite stingy in the eye, so be careful. They warn that the gel in step 2, has silver nitrate, so again, be careful. Delivery from the U.K. was 3 weeks ahead of the promised arrival date. If it lasts a longer or shorter time, I don't care. I'm just happy to have eyelash dye again.

Did not work at all
I asked my husband to get this for me. I have light red eyelashes. The first time I used it, I got some in my eyes and had to wash the gel off. The comb did not saturate my lashes so I kept going over them until the buildup eventually got in my eye. It did not work at all. I thought it might have been because my eyes were watering and I got my lashes wet. So I redid it, this time leaving the liquid on for several minutes instead of the recommended one or two. This time when I applied the gel, I put a dab between my first finger and my thumb and grabbed my lashes in a pinch. This worked much better. My lashes were fully saturated. I kept it on for a good 20 minutes. When I washed it off, you could barely see it at all. Waste of time, and my eyes hurt. I'm very disappointed. I'll have to go back to a salon or find a better brand

Swiss O'par brown brow dye
I have used Swiss O'par brown lash and brow dye for years on my blond eyebrows - never on lashes. It works very well as long as care is taken to remove ALL oils from the eyebrows before applying it. Don't skip this step or it will not be very effective. The papers and the little comb provided are useless. I use an old clean mascara wand to apply the liquid and another one to apply the gel, The liquid in the amber colored bottle is clear but it will eventually darken as the product ages, so be sure to cap the bottle as quickly as possible and store upright in a dark place. An application is supposed to last for six weeks, but for me it only lasts about a month. I use brow mascara to touch up if needed at the end of the month (I like Jane Iredale's blond brow mascara). A box will last about a year. Even so, it makes short work of my makeup routine. Swiss O'par is a really good product but don't skip the prep work or you will waste your time.

Just Ok
I have really blonde eye lashes and eyebrows and you're unable to see them. I started tinting my eyebrows with men's beard dye a few years ago because it's easy and lasts a couple of weeks. I wanted to try and tint my eye lashes too but of course you can't use that on lashes so I set out to find a natural alternative. Below is my honest review for this product. Firstly, this is NOT easy to use. The papers they give you to put under the lashes don't work at all. I actually took a spooly brush to apply the product and it was much easier but I did get some dye under my eye so I have a small stain. Second, it took three full applications back to back before it took and made my lashes look darker. Thirdly, as soon as I put the second step (the activator gel) near my eye lashes, my eyes started to burn so bad they started watering and I had to rinse and start all over again. So it took me a while to get the process going. This happened several times before I actually was able to complete both steps successfully. Which again, took three full times before I noticed a difference in color. All in all the product worked ok on lashes. I tried it on my eyebrows but didn't like the results as much as when I use the beard dye. It didn't do much at all actually for my eyebrows. It has lasted a couple of weeks on my lashes so far though. Maybe my expectations are too high but I don't think it's worth the process in my opinion.

Great product if you are more precise
So I’m not a mastermind when it comes to home beauty routines, but I have colored my own hair successfully many times and usually know my way around novice level items. Tinting was a bit nerve wracking for me since it is permanent and against the eyes, but with a wedding upcoming, I knew I wanted to enhance my natural look. I lifted my lashes to a varying degree of success, and while they were in place on the lift mat, I used this tint kit. I was thrown off by the lack of direct instructions being listed anywhere obvious. My lizard brain didn’t think to check the little pamphlet thoroughly, so I googled it instead. Once I felt confident in the timing and amount of each needed, I applied the two steps and was thrilled at the instant results. I completely overthought the whole thing, because it’s super easy! Felt like I was back at newb status though... Tips I wish I HAD known... it’s essentially instant hair dye. It’s going to dye your skin, too, so my fail-tastic self who wasn’t able to get my under eye guards to stick looked like I had a black eye forming. Put a barrier around your brows. Or yours will also look a bit like you were in the dark while filling them. Use a precise brush to apply the primer. Don’t feel like you have to use theirs... you can get a tiny brush and touch off their applicators. You’ll have a lot more success than the big swabs. This color is DARK brown. I’m a super fair skinned dark brunette and I no longer fill my brows... I just use clear gel to shape them and powder to fill.

Be careful when applying gel over the liquid.
1st, what I do like - that it is darker and stays longer than the other brand I was using. What I do NOT like is the steps to applying - make sure the liquid really wets your hair, the liquid has to stay on at least 60 seconds , the longer you leave on, the darker the color. Then, the messy and easy to fudge part - you must make sure the application of the gel is in one fell swoop. A good even amount of gel to comb over the brow hair and cover it all that one time. You cannot dab and swipe over the eyebrows a 2nd time or more with gel, because then the liquid and gel MIX, and once they mix the dye does not adhere and when it`s all wiped off, there are patches that did not hold the dye. All it takes is one little mismix on the brows, and it has to be done over. If it does get on any skin around brows, it takes awhile to wash off. I did read the directions verrry carefully, and was well prepared. Directions say you must be sure not to mix the liquid with the gel on the applicators or the liquid will be ruined, goes the same once it might mix on brows, not simply gel placed over the liquid. I will keep and use what I have, but I will go back to my powder dye capsules that mix with developer and just apply and re-dye more frequently. It`s a shame, I really wanted to like this product and have it work for me.

Fun, easy, dye :)
I have sparse eyebrows hm thanks to myself for over-plugging them when I was young teenager :/ :p. I am naturally dark blond, on top of that sometimes my brows are being rebels and grow lighter than I would want them to. Which is super silly because my eyelashes are super dark! :O So to darken my brows and to kinda color the skin spots in between I use henna. I usually used powder mixes. This one is different. Muuuch simpler but You have to be very careful. Basically everything You need is included in a box. You put a little bit of clear liquid on Your brows or lashes wait a minute or two (the longer You wait the color will be darker). After this step You put the gel on it and then wash it out with light soap an warm water. When first time I did it, I was like WOW! Because You put this clear liquid on thinking "this doesn't do a s***" :p and then right in second when You touch with this gel it become DAAARK everywhere where You put the previous liquid on. Just don't touch the gel bottle with anything that is wet with a liquid, because it immediately activates it and if You will drop some liquid to a gel bottle You'll activate all and waste the whole product. So overall fun experience. Lasting power ok as well, about 2-3 weeks.

Not worth the effort
I have light lashes and wish I could just leave the house mascara free. When I found this on Amazon, I had high hopes and wanted to like it. Here's my feedback: On the pro side: it takes only three steps : 1. Add liquid 2. Add gel and 3. Wash it off. It sounds easy but the applicator for the liquid is basically a Q-tip and it was hard to get the product on my eyelashes without getting it on my skin. Besides that, the liquid is clear so it's difficult to tell where it is and how much has been applied . After waiting a couple minutes, I attempted to comb the gel onto my lashes but the gel was getting into my eyes and they were burning, so I placed it on a disposable mascara wand to finish the application. After washing off the product, I was disappointed with the results. The color was weak, my eyes were burning and I had some stained spots on my skin. I would not recommend this product.
