Works best if you have low TDS
This cartridge works great and I can get a bought 6 months out it before I have to replace it. HOWEVER The TDS of my supply water is 20ish and I only use this to filter about 10 gallons a week. The people complaining that it doesn't last long enough are either A) using supply water with a high TDS (100+) or B) Using it to filter large quantities of water.

It really works!
I'm impressed! It actually reduced TDS from 56 to 2 TDS! Distilled water I bought shows 1. It leaked a bit first time I installed. But I put Teflon tape and is no longer leaking. I know it's not supposed to be used for drinking water, but I have to taste it! Water tasted better than the bottled distilled water. Also water is clearer! Very easy to use, like plug and play, seems durable and I wasn't expecting the unit resin is replaceable. So that is s big plus.. compatible with my ispring, uses 1/4 tubing that plugs in. Comes with brackets.. Pricewise it's not that cheap but it's not that expensive!

Check cap it was loose, but it works great!
Easy install on my RO system dropped my water TDS from 47 to 0 .
