If you grew with the gundam wing anime this is a must collection fun to build and nice to put on display.

The Gundam Wing kits are very small, as in the series the mobile suits are much smaller than in the Universal Century. If you are used to building UC kits, you'll at first assume these must be too small as they are on par with 1/144 UC Gundam models, but they are in fact to scale. The detail in the Gundam Wing kits is quite high, especially given their small stature, Sandrock has more decals per square cm than the Ver.Ka Sazabi, and once complete looks incredible, especially with a little custom painting to give him a dusty desert look like in the series.

Straight forward to assemble for experienced model builders, this size (1/100) means it stands perfectly among the other Endless Waltz (1/100) range. Parts are already coloured so minimal extra painting required (unless for personal preference or if you would like to paint the small pilot figurines that come with it). The endless waltz version of Sandrock is a more ornate and intricate version and looks excellent beside the other 4 Gundams from the Wing series. Overall a great addition to the Gundam Wing collection.

He's a bad motherfu... SHUT YO MOUTH!!! I'm just talking about Sandrock! Anyways, this is another great kit from the Master Grade Wing series. So far I've done Deathscythe Hell and now this. Both very good kits in my opinion. Bandai decided to make sprues out of both ABS and Polystyrene plastic depending on the part. The sprues are in multicolor so you do not need to paint if that's not your thing. Sandrock looks great, simply off the sprue. Better if you're willing to spend an hour or so with a detail pen, or even better if you're a full on painting type! He comes with a shield, a beam sub machine gun, and his trademark twin "shotel" scythe swords! The swords fit into his shield for his special attack, onto back for carrying, or (of course) dual wielded in each hand. The swords even combine at the hilt for a Darth Maul style double sword weapon, and man does it look awesome. The swords come with grey-silver colored blades or a replacement clear red color for when it's all heated up! The articulation of this model is really good and the joints are tight and will hold poses through the use of polycaps or tight fitting ABS plastic. The skirts at the waiste are even a little tighter than on Deathscythe and are less prone to fall off. And the arms are poseable enough to pull a sword off the back! Very good model overall....I'm feel like I'm 2 for 2 on Gundam models so far and I hope the streak lasts!! PRO's Everything I mentioned so far. CON's 1. The joint to turn the two swords into Darth Maul, is a little weak considering how heavy the weapon is. Is wish it were reinforced. 2. At the very end of the arm the plates that cover where the hand attaches to the arm (via ball socket) are free floating. On Deathscythe they didn't do that and fit in nicely, on Sandrock they're only held in place by virtue of the hand being attached to the arm. It will get fixed when I glue it down after I paint it, but yes it's a con. and lastly 3. The armor plating on the shoulder kinda impedes the arm going to a full extension. Not a deal breaker because over all this model is very articulate!!! I would definitely buy again!! It was so much fun to build!
