What happens to this mat??? I bought this mat almost 5 years ago and LOVE it! I use it daily for beachbody, stretching, etc. It’s done wonder to save my joints. I was so impressed that I recently bought my 75 year old father one. I could tell he wasn’t as impressed with it, so when I came up to visit him I tried the mat. From the moment I touched it, I could tell this is NOT the same quality mat it was. It was made cheaply and wasn’t nearly as thick. I did beachbody T-25 on it, and it was like working out on a yoga mat. My feet stuck to it when I jumped and my knees, feet and legs felt the entire 25 minutes of jumping as this mat had no bouancy. Pogo, please go back to your original mat!!! This things is a cheap mat made oversees probably in China for pennies. I would never buy or recommend this mat again. Sorely disappointed in a product that used to be so great.

Finally found and bought this mat to replace an old children's foam mat that I had bought at the 99 cent store because it was larger than a yoga mat with more cushioning. This mat is a gamechanger! It is large enough to use for all kettlebell activities, including lunges and Turkish getups. It does not budge at all, so I can do these exercises more confidently and with more weight because I don't have any fear that the mat will move around, nor do my feet slip on the mat. What a difference! I can stretch every which way and still remain on the cushioned mat. Mat laid flat first time out of the box. There was a very minimal smell when I was stretching in the prone position with my face practically in the mat, but I think that has already disappeared (after 2-3 hours). Cushioning is great; able to perform all exercises/stretches without feeling any stress on my joints. Made my workout so much more enjoyable! Wish I would have bought it years ago!!

Bought it recently when carpet was removed from basement due to flooding. I am 52, have a bad knee due to a childhood injury resulting in surgery, and need support for doing low-impact aerobics. This is just roomy enough to do my Gilad and PiYo workouts. It is easy to clean and roll up when needed. It does not move around on the concrete floor during workouts. I do add a padded mat or beach towel when working out on my knees, but the couple of times I did go on my knees on the mat did not lead to any pain (just feels a bit better with additional padding when knees are on floor).

This thing is phenomenal. I now wish I got the 8x8 one! I still may! I've done T25, stretching, jumping rope on it already and just received it 3 days ago! There was no smell, and some said it was slippery, but right out of the packaging, it was tacky, and not slippery at all, so maybe they've changed the coating on it. I rolled it out, put a few of my weights on the tightest curled end for 20 minutes, and it flattened right out! Absolutely love everything about it. My old mat, which was puzzle pieces of ECO rubber, slipped all over my laminate plank flooring. This one will not budge. You will love it and it's worth every penny.

I was VERY worried about this sliding on my concrete or not being enough padding for all the jumping I do. My knees and shins do NOT like hard surfaces. I thought for sure sense our "mancave" is so dusting (window stays open) that the mat would slide. It doesn't! Not at all. This is an awesome size, great padding and stays put.I DID NOT want to pay nearly $130 but I am a Certified Personal Trainer and have some clients come to the house so I knew it would be good investment (if it worked). But I was fully prepared to send back if not. Thank the lord, I can say it was a great choice and works perfectly.

Finally a mat that I truly like and use, it is not pillow like, so maintaining a position is stable and positive as you make little adjustments during stretching and concentrating on the hold. The mat is light enough to be carried by most people, however, children should not play around or with a rolled up one without supervision, but once laid out flat on the ground, it's perfect for them to learn some exercises with you at the same time (it's big enough) in comfort. It is a durable mat that should last a very long time, I'm always on it stretching with my timer watching my movies, I can't thank the people who made this product enough.

This mat is great for doing high intensity workouts with a lot of jumping. The mat stays in place and provides cushioning. I also noticed the mat does feel softer than when I first got it a month ago. The protective film seemed to have disappeared after a couple of workouts. I was worried about storing the mat, but it's easy to roll up. The straps help keep the mat tightly rolled and I just put in a closet until the next workout. The mat unrolls easily and lays flat within a few minutes. I will definitely buys another Pogamat when I need a replacement.

Originally bought this for exercising and dance games, but it ended up being the perfect mat to define the play area for virtual reality (VR) experiences. Unlike many other mats this one is generously sized and allows some room to walk back and forth.Before setting up the mat, my legs and feet could become quite sore and tired after several hours of VR on hardwood floors. The mat has been a tremendous relief in that regard, removing all discomfort, as well as easily supporting quick drops down onto the knees, without any risk of rug burn.I use it with socks and find it has good grip. It doesn't slide around on the wood floor. It has good cushioning without being so thick as to give an unstable feeling. It should work fine with shoes, but it'll pick up dust prints easily. However, these can be brushed or swept off.

Great for insanity workouts... moves a little on the carpet, but very happy with this as a base for exercises. Lies flat and rolls well.

I looked for a long time for a mat that was big enough for doing cardio workouts but flexible enough to be rolled up after use and finally found this one. It is great and really makes my home exercise routines easier and less of a faff. I was using yoga mats, so this is a big improvement in terms of thickness and I now can't trip over the edges of abutting mats.I use the mat on carpet and it does travel slightly when I do fast moving exercises, but it never runkles. I roll it every day and it still comes out nice and flat when unrolled. Fairly obvious, I suppose but it is quite heavy to lift / move the roll.All in all, really pleased with this - I have been looking for something for a long time and it is very nearly perfect!

First use this morning, perfect for my daily insanity max 30 workouts really covers the space required to complete all the leaping around cardio and plyo moves. Press ups and squats are made far more comfortable, no slipping or sliding and easier on the hands. Its tuff and sturdy and currently seems well up for the job and also absorbs a lot of the stomping noise that annoys the family .I did initially question the price but took the plunge although already can’t see myself going back to working out on the hard wood floor. Note I have probably wasted 100£ on yoga and works out mats in the past that have been to small ,continually rolling up etc. -this mat is a far superior bit of work out kit
