I'm not new to tuners and worked in music for over 50 years. All these clip on mini tuners are relatively new to the music world. Many ppl criticize them but most often it's the user not the equipment. I have literally worn out two of the most common brand but to no fault of the company. Simply wore them out even with careful use. I was looking for a tuner with a longer reach to clear away from very large bass machine heads. But, also to be able to articulate a perfect sightline and be hidden behind the headstocks. This model is the best I have used or seen to date, You can rotate both the top and bottom base or platen 360 degrees. The arm length is perfect. Ned Steinberger as a designer and D'Add as a company hit the mark on this tiny unit. It's well worth the little extra money to have one. Super accurate and ballistically fast. Not just in reading transitions in the cycles but on startup and shutdown. I am not exaggerating when I say this is one very cool tool. Super bright and legible . But, the really unique and practical function is you can reorient the screen to which ever direction to want . Place the screen vertical or horizontal and you can bounce the graphics around to suit. It's a total winner !
