I chose large as worried about comfort. The inbuilt elastic holds firmly on thighs. I am 17.0.

I don't know the brand but the quality is excellent. Brands have never been a guarantee of quality in my experience anyway.

I am 6ft ordered the XL which fits fine. It does give you guidance on sizes
