This hive smoker just works. it's simple and reliable, and for the price, I'm not too worried should I have to replace it after wearing through the bellows. One note for those that may not know, but you need to reach inside the smoker when you receive it and pull out the metal disk at the bottom of the smoker. Once you do that, you want to bend out each of the little prongs into table legs and put this back into the smoker chamber with the legs down towards the bottom. This elevates the fuel up off the bottom and allows for air exchange. Easy enough to miss this detail if you're not aware of it. Happy smoking!

I had a smoker and it broke. This one feels way sturdier than my other one. Good quality, works as it should. I would recommend.

I have this -- i actually have two of them because my husband got me one. it works fine. my friend gave me his old one that is about 2-4 inches taller. i think i like the taller one better. but again, this one works fine. the pellets are worthless. i have been using pine needles, pine cones, and paper. my professional bee keeper friend has taught me to use the wood chips you put in the bottom of a critter cage.... I haven't gotten any of those yet because the pine needles are all over my back yard. i will never buy the pellets again. hard to light, don't stay lit, and it takes several.... i've never been able to keep the smoke going long with just pellets, so i can't really tell you how many it takes. and this smoker is fine. i just prefer the taller version.

Nice bee hive smoker. Used it for 4 years without any issues. Initially was missing the internal baffle. Contacted customer service, they sent out a new one and told me to keep the old one. Can't beat that kind of service. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again!

About half the price of the same item bought locally. I loaded it with dry pine needles and cones. It lit easily with a long-stemmed lighter and stayed at a good cold smolder until nothing but ash was left. Lots of smoke. The product is extremely well built for the price. The bellows looks and feels very durable. Great little smoker!

This is a nice smoker for the price. I would have preferred one made in the USA but did not find one until I already ordered this one from China.

personally this company had the best price $XXX, but I use this as a mosquito repellent, the pump portion is made well you can squeeze it without difficulty, the wood panel is a thin piece so don't get it wet or just make sure it is kept dry, the metal is durable I dropped it and it didn't break on first drop, which is great cause this was it was made in china, I have put charcoal and it was good it did not flame up it produced smoke against mosquitoes I have put real smokers pellets and other things , I like this, I just the vendor can keep the price low, I guess it is good for smoking bees but as the instructions say, make sure you use appropriate smokers so as not to contaminate the honey

Nothing much too it, just a honey bee smoker. Design has been relatively unchanged for over 100 years. The only complaint I have is the top portion is a very loose fit to the body. It’s impossible to pick up the smoker from the top hook due to this loose fitting.

It's a traditional bee smoker and works as it should. Only concern is whether the fabric (not leather) from which the bellows are made will last very long. So far I've been using it a couple of times a week for about two months and it works fine.

We had a slightly smaller smoker prior to this one. This smoker has good capacity- enough to keep going through a three hive inspection (properly packed).
