Disneys Frozen Invisible Ink Coloring Book

My daughter loved this! She is almost 5 and of course, obsessed with Elsa. I almost did not buy this because of the poor reviews about the pen running out. She did the entire book in one sitting & the ink seems plentiful still. I did warn her not to "scribble scrabble" over and over the same place on the page because it would use too much ink. She listened & had no problem. I love invisible books from when I was a kid, so decided to purchase more to keep her busy. I thought she would like to try a different book, but she insisted on another Frozen one. So, bought another one!

These are the best gift for little ones. There is no mess and it erases itself in a few minutes so that they can color over and over again. This is great for car trips

Purchased this for a friend's daughter (7 years old) because of her love of "Frozen" and my own fond memories of playing with invisible ink books on long car trips. Unfortunately, nostalgia clouds reason once again. She caught on to the concept of invisible ink quickly, and was diligent about not pressing too hard with the pen as instructed. But the invisible pictures are very large; it took a lot of coloring to fill them in. The colored pictures were limited in their spectrum and often smeared together. She completed about five pages before growing bored with the pen (which was also starting to lose some strength already) and turning to her crayons and pencils. She seemed much happier at being able to draw her own pictures in the blank spaces and having much more colors to use on the pictures. One positive point is that the quality of the images in the book are very nice and detailed and actually look like the movie characters.So as an invisible ink book, it might be okay to entertain a child for a short period -maybe on a shorter car trip or in a waiting room. As a long-term activity, don't count on it, unless you provide other coloring materials. Keep an eye on the invisible ink pen as well, as I don't think it could last through the whole book.

bought 2 of these for my nieces (twins). they loved it! its like magic to them! and they love the book and the fact that they can do them together! great item to keep those kids busy!

Either the pen or the pages of the tablet were defective. No color appeared when we used the marker on this tablet or another magic marker tablet. Similarly, using a different magic marker on this tablet did not produce results. Not sure what is wrong with the product but it is pretty much worthless to our 4-year-old and a bust. We have emailed Amazon to request a full refund.

When we are on a long car trip, activities like the Frozen Magic Pen Painting Book are absolutely critical to keeping your 3-4 year old occupied while you try to drive as many miles as possible before the next potty break. My wife stocks up on various activities like this book before our road trips and slowly feeds them to my daughter as the boredom of being in the car for 8 hours begins to take its toll.This activity book gave us about 30 minutes of quiet time (without resorting to the iPad) on the highway before my daughter got bored with it. That is a win.This book is fairly inexpensive, so it's the average/low level of quality you would expect. With that said, it works as advertised.I would recommend this activity book.

The markers were a little dry at first but I warmed them up in a dish of water. They work like a charm now!

I was a kid the last time I had thought about one of these invisible ink books. I remember loving them. When I saw this, I had to order it for my daughter. She really loved them as well. It doesn't last a really long time, as there is a single marker that colors the entire book and the child doesn't really have to stay in the lines, but it's still a nice buy.
