Brooks Men's Addiction Walker V-Strap 2 Walking Shoe

My husband usually wears a similar shoe, SAS shoes. He bought these to try and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable they are. Fit well, the Velcro makes putting them on and taking off easier. They are leather so dressier than fabric sneakers.

Shoes fit correctly. I put them on as soon as they arrived and went out to dinner. They felt great, as they should. Easy to put on and no flying laces.

This is the 4th pair of these shoes I've bought for my husband over the years. He says they are the most comfortable shoes he's ever worn and he is 89 so that's a lot of shoes that don't measure up to these. They look nice enough for church with chinos and tough enough to wear working around the tree farm in rainy Oregon. Comfort alone is worth every penny. His podiatrist noticed them and commented "good shoes".

I'm wearing my 3rd pair because they are the most balanced, cushioned, and roomy of the many waking shoes I tried. I use these among all others for longer walks because of their fit and they're the best for standing in place too.

Make sure you go by the British shoe size chart when you order. I bought the shoes to help me reduce pain in my arthritic ankles. The cushioning is very good and dies reduce the pain levels. The shoes appear to be well-made. The two Velcro-like attachments are well made and will probably outlast the shoes. I'm not a slave to fashion but I wouldn't consider them ugly shoes, just typical in appearance for men.

Grat pair of walking shoes or light weight work shoes. Very comfortable and I love the velcro closures. The closure is nice, especially if your feet swell during the day; you can make quick adjustments on the closures to relief the pressure. I had a pair identical to these that tied with strings, instead of the velcro straps and I loved them as well.

The leather is quite stff.
