Rotatable Car Air Vent Mount LCH-08 - Black - "See Your Phone in New Way"

The back bracket became loose after twisted the mount a few times.

The media could not be loaded. I was very impressed with this vent mount. I really didn't think that it would actually work, but as you can see from my video, it sticks into the vent, and stays stuck. This mount holds phones very securely. It didn't work with my phone with a super bulky case, but with regular cases or no case, then it holds phones very well. You can hold it upside down and shake it, and the phone won't come out.I like how it's just one piece. A lot of other mounts have a ton of confusing pieces. But this has a small footprint, and so it's easy to either leave in the vent, or throw in your glove box until you need to see your cell phone while driving.It also stays really sturdy and steady while driving. I've tried out a few different car mounts for my cell phone and this one is about as basic as they get. There's a rubberized clip on the back that slips into the air vent in your car and the front is spring loaded to hold your phone inside. The nice thing about this mount is that it is ultra-portable and easily fits in a pocket so it makes it a great unit to travel with as it should fit in most vents.The back clip does rotate but that is pretty much the only control you have over where the device sits. In my vents it was heavy enough to make the vents point downwards when it was attached with a phone inside. The clip held the phone well but didn't feel all that sturdy.I have seen this same clip, or at least ones that look identical, sell for as low as $3.00 to $5.00 so make sure you shop around for the best price. At that price point they're not a bad deal, at the current $10 I believe it's a bit overpriced.Overall this is a vent mount that does the job but it isn't anything spectacular.Sample provided for review.
