Perfect for summer mtn biking. Exceptionally light shorts that can be worn into a casual restaurant, in the water, and of course mtn biking. IMO the perfect outer layer for mtn biking is lightweight and quick dry yet looks ok on. This checks all of those boxes. The liner is comfy, rode two hours today, they were fine. A bit snug but that is a good thing compared to some much more expensive liners I have that feel baggy once they get sweaty. Other brands of cycling liner underwear cost as much as this entire short and liner combo. The elastic on both a tad tight, I'd say the large is more a 35 than 36 waist.

I've worn the shorts twice and like them a lot. I bought them for use on a spinning bike and have used them on two rides, each lasting an hour. Like a road bike, the seats on the spinning bikes are narrow and hard. These shorts are comfortable, make the ride more comfortable and look great.

These shorts are good enough for the money, be be aware that the size might be inconsistent. I am not a big guy but in bike clothing I always wear a Large. This comes as a short and a separate padded liner. The shorts fit, the liner does not. The liner is laughing small, so this going back. I have no way of knowing if this is just mismarked or the actual size but the incompatibility of the two pieces makes it unworkable for me.
