Love these. Doesnt leave a soggy mess in the cistern. Pretty colour. Keeps the loo looking nice. Foaming very good. Great smell.

I bought 2packs for use at home, I’ve 3 toilets so put 1 in each on the same day; how is it that one turned the water dark purple by the next day, one turned the water a murky lilac and the other did absolutely nothing. 2 months down the line and the one that actually did something (turning the water purple) runs out so I go to replace it as I have 1 remaining. Firstly plunging your hand into freezing cold murky water isn’t ideal (prior to buying I knew that I would have to retrieve the glass container but I didn’t know the water would still be a little discoloured when fishing around the cistern to find it; the worst kind of treasure hunt!!!) once I retrieved it I realised the remnants of the dye is now leeching all over my hand; wonderful! I put the replacement in and have waited a week for nothing to happen, no change in the water colour. I plunge my hand back into the murky bog water to retrieve the new one to find it’s done nothing, zilch, nada, except get covered in murky slime (see photos). In total I bought 4 cistern blocks (2x 2pack) and only 1 of the 4 worked, the other 3 haven’t dispersed the toilet cleaner at all just grown a hideous layer of sludge which just makes the retrieval process even more grim. I wanted to love this product but unfortunately it’s a massive waste of time and money.

Cons: Need for Multiple Blocks: To achieve the deep, non-transparent purple that I prefer, I find it necessary to use both blocks in the toilet. Using just one block results in a semi-transparent purple that isn’t as vivid or opaque, which might be disappointing if you’re after a more intense colour. Longevity: The product claims to last for up to 2000 flushes, but in my experience, it doesn’t even come close to that. I would estimate that each block lasts for fewer than 200 flushes, which means you’ll be replacing them more frequently than expected. Cost: Given the need to use two blocks simultaneously and their shorter lifespan, this can become an expensive way to maintain the coloured water effect. However, if having purple water is important to you, this is still one of the few options available. Overall, these purple toilet blocks are a good choice if you’re specifically looking to colour your toilet water purple. They deliver a vibrant hue when used in pairs, but the need for multiple blocks and their shorter-than-advertised lifespan make them a pricier option. Despite these drawbacks, I continue to buy them because they do achieve the desired effect, even if it comes at a higher cost.

save your money, early work a week. the only thing pink is the plastic top. does not seem to improve the cleanliness of the toilet. just end up making a mess when you try and remove it.

Thought these looked like a good idea But having tried them I won’t be using again There is no smell to them and they turn the water an awful murky colour Then some days they would spit out bits and stain the bowl

This is not a good product. I wished I had read the reviews before buying it. It sit in the cistern and does nothing. The only way to get the contents out was to turn it upside down in the cistern and it was very messy hence why I have no pictures. Would not recommend and definitely would not buy it again. Very disappointed with this product and it does not deserve 1 star
