These are good pedals at a reasonable price. I’ve purchased two pairs for a couple of my bikes. Because they arrive very stiff, I open them up, remove the very sticky grease they use at the factory, and use a much higher quality lube that makes them spin much more freely. I like the look of them and they adequately keep my shoes planted. I deducted one star only because I need to work on them to get them 100%.

After many miles and years with clipless(SPD and Speedplay) on my road bikes, I decided to try platform pedals. These are light weight but very sturdy. Combined with a pair of Five Tens, I have not lost any speed or climbing ability. There are enough pins to hold you on the pedal but it’s easy to reposition. These are fairly stiff soles but have enough flex to walk comfortably in. I’m a convert to platform pedals! Jan 4, 2022 After over a year of use, I still like these pedals. These have a large platform which opens up lots of placement options for long rides. The finish has held up well. No problem with the bearings or the pins. I have added a pair to my wife’s road bike as well. Edit:(4/22) Just finished riding the Natchez Trace (442 miles) with these pedals on my road bike. I never slipped off the pedals. I never suffered a “hotspot” on my feet. There is plenty of evidence that there is no loss of efficiency when not clipping in. I am sold.

These are amazing petals. Solid metal, heavy and extremly durable. I like the color options and worth switching your half plastic ones for. It has sharp little pegs as grips which are nice just be a little careful as they are sharp and you could easily scratch yourself on them. They spin nice too after being greased well. Quiet as well. These are really great, glad to have found them.
