The Beauty of Color: The Ultimate Beauty Guide for Skin of Color

I have a plethora amount of makeup artist books and this by far is the best. I love how Iman breaks down the different face types and shows which product to use for which face type. I am a professional makeup artist, so there for I can say this is not my first rodeo. I recommend this book to anyone who is beginning to advanced. There is literally something for everyone.

This is a wonderful resource for beginners as well as advanced makeup artists! I've had several copies of this book over the years, and it is one that my clients find very inspiring (which is why it keeps disappearing from my studio!) I would advise future purchasers to keep a close eye on this beautifully done book!

I had purchased this too expand my knowledge on working with different skin tones in regard to makeup. This book has wonderful pictures that can be used as a guide to practice, or to generate ideas on creating color palettes. The book also gives great information and tips. I would recommned this book to anyone who is looking to work with different ethnicities / skin tones in a professional make up setting or to learn more about your own skin and makeup.

Quick flip through of the book, looks promising. Can't wait to really sit down and absorb provided information. Love the photographs, guest commentary by Selma Hyak and Iman herself. I had this book in my wish for years, sorry I waited too long but believe I got it at the right time.

The best makeup book purchase I've made so far. As an experienced freelance MUA I really learned from this book. Aside the core basics, there are great fundamental techniques and illustrations that are well explained. Great for anyone in makeup to have in their collection.

IMAN does a wonderful thing in her makeup line and her books, she shows women of COLOR from all ethnic backgrounds who are women of color. This book was an interesting collection of women who have been worked on using her cosmetics. I loved the book. The only weird thing is the book, half way through it, ends up turning itself upside down and one of the pictures does not fit the celebrity. If it weren't for that, I would have given it 5 stars. Something that a new MUA doesn't need but if your interested in IMAN'S makeup line, (I've tried her products on AA women love them almost more than MAC) then I would get this.

A good addition to any beauty library. Focus is on a range of shades, and I found it practical, too.

Parfait étatLe contenu du livre est très instructif et très belles images présentes. Les explications sont très claires pour celles qui démarrent dans le maquillage et pour celle qui souhaitent simplement apprendre de nouvelles techniques.

Dazu sind auch die Altersklassen berücksichtigt.Ausserdem sind die Make up Tips teilweise anhand einer Prominenten mit top Bildern dargestellt. Also auch was fürs Auge ;).LG

Delivery took quite a while. But now that it's in I'm very pleased with the book. It has the layout of a glossy magazine but more useful information ( and less adverts ,haha)
