Super bright light, highly recommended (Has wiring attached though!)
I bought this a while back after going through way too many batteries for my former front light. I read lots of reviews and settled on this one as it has overall great reviews. It has been excellent, very bright and much brighter than my Cats Eye light. I somehow missed that this light had wiring permanently attached though (I thought it was cordless once charged like my FlashWolves tail light - which is also excellent btw) and while having the wiring hasn't been an issue, I can't imagine it working very well if you were wearing this on a helmet. Anyway, I'm very happy with the purchase as its very bright and the flashing mode helps keep me visible when I'm road riding. Highly recommended.

This is a good light. A charge lasts practically forever.
This is a good light. A charge lasts practically forever. It doesn't get too hot. I mount this one on my helmet. I have had it 11 months. It mounts solidly and does not bounce or twist. The beam is reasonably focused. When I put it up against lights that cost 7-10 times as much, this one has held its own. During the winter when I ride lots more at night, I mount a similar 8.4 volts light on the bar. It is brighter with a wider beam but lasts about 25% as long. I used to carry a spare cigar light and spare 18650 battery, but never used it because this one always works!

Light up my ride
This is my second light. The first one died after a little vibration crossing over a wooden bridge. I was stuck on the road until the sun came up which prompted me to take a back up flashlight from now on. The light is terrific though and lights the road for my early morning rides to a very safe distance. The battery is more than adequate for a two hour ride at full brightness. Let's see if the first failure was a fluke. Update - not a fluke. Light died after about 100 hrs of use.

Excellent light and value priced!
I am amazed at how many stars have been taken off for it not being 1200 lumens. This light is BRIGHT!!!!! And the price is very low. If you don't think it's bright enough, buy two. I purchased a bright eyes light for nearly doublethe price and see zero difference between the two except one was more expensive and this Augymer has the benefit of a screw on connector which keeps it from coming lose while riding ( a problem that I had with the bright eyes). This is a great light and I will be buying one more to mount on my helmet.

Wouldn't recommend because
I thought this was a cool idea but the light is particularly heavy and requires some rigging. The power source is seperate making it a bit impractical. One positive, the light is very bright and overall functions properly. If you want a stationary spotlight this would be great.

Feels more like a pre-release prototype
A bright, small, aluminum light with a larger capacity rechargeable battery and head mount for $20 is a great deal. So I really can’t complain too much, but I will anyway. The product has a total lack of refinement and these details add up.Take for example the fact that the power cable comes out the front of the light rather than the back – WHY!Right off the bat, sloppy design. The mount is a bit loose on my bike, hit a bump and it dips down. It needs a stronger mount for the bike. A couple zip ties for the cable would be nice too.The battery pouch should be a nice touch, but why does it only have one horizontal mounting strap at the top? How is this going to hold a fairly heavy battery to my belt or bike? Answer - It’s not.The head mount, a fantastic accessory that makes this light good for camping and hiking too but it needs attachment points run the cable through to keep it out of your face. The cable coming out the front is even a bigger problem here. But my biggest gripe its AC adapter. It outputs 4.2v so within the range of a USB charge port. And that’s exactly what it should be - a USB battery. Just like the one powering my phone for biking, camping and hiking.Instead they give you a somewhat proprietary AC adapter with no DC charge option like USB or 12v car adapter either. The battery itself is another small complaint; it seems to be a stack of 4 cells which if made flat in a row would fit much better on my bike or belt.I don't think it's 1200 lumen either, but still very bright light, I'd guess about 600.Overall, it really is a decent product with potential, but feels more like a pre-release prototype.

Works good
This light works good. I really like the rubber sealed battery. The only issue is that it's not 1200 lm. I also have a 700 lm stick light for my helmet that is just. a tad brighter then this one. But for under $30 I can't complain!

I would not recommend this light to anyone looking for an everyday headlight ...
I was hoping to get a light to use for evening bike rides and possibly some early morning/evening runs.FOR RUNNING: this light is completely unusable. The light REQUIRES that you carry a fairly weighty battery pack as it carries no charge of its own without it. In addition to that the wire that connects the light to the battery pack dangles awkwardly on your face. Zero stars as a running headlamp.FOR CYCLING: the battery pack is ungainly and cumbersome. It does come with a pouch that you can attach to your bike. The only saving grace of this light is that it can be used in case of emergency- I would not want this for an everyday headlight. I will keep the battery charged and then toss in my backpack before rides in the autumn.Bottom-line: I would not recommend this light to anyone looking for an everyday headlight for bike rides. I would tell people to absolutely not purchase this if they wanted a headlamp for running. I wholeheartedly regret purchasing this light.
