Best quality, best functionality of any similar tool. (Don't waste your money on any other.s.)
Bought several toilet aids, not knowing which would be best. This tool functions exactly as promised. The big quality is exceptional, there are clear and concise instructions for the simple operation. I strongly recommend this product for anyone needed assistance in reaching those hard to reach areas. FTR, we really need this tool for drying only. Great tool for use with a bidet or bidet seat. The only thing that it's missing is a loop to hang it near the toilet!

Excellent Personal Aid With Strong Grip and Helpful Caddy
I’ve hesitated at writing a review for this product because it’s sometimes difficult to talk about a product that’s used for personal hygiene. Then again, it’s that reluctance, born out of the difficulty of writing about personal hygiene, that makes me want to help others with similar issues. After experiencing a stroke, I became disabled and unable to walk or leave bed. In an effort to become more independent, I wanted to do my own diaper changes at night, but reaching everywhere to wipe is sometimes difficult with my limited range of motion. After searching the web, I found this Juvo Toilet Aid, and, despite its delicate appearance, I decided to give it a try. I am very happy to report how effective it is and that, almost two months later, it’s still in the same condition as it was and functioning as well as it did when I first received it. This Aid makes a nice strong grip on the cleansing wipes, and it’s never dropped a wipe while being used. I need my hands free to hold myself aloft in bed, which means that strong grip is absolutely necessary for me. The plastic/rubber ‘hands’ or grippers are also very easy to clean, and the additional Caddy they include for this part of the Aid is a really nice feature. The caddy, which is made out of a strong, hard plastic and is easy to open with slight pressure at a certain serrated juncture, allows you to further protect this movable area that should be cleaned after each use. There are two ways to open and release the ‘arms’ of the movable area, and the large button that closes the hands is easy to use, even with my limited hand motion. All the parts of this Aid seem designed to better help individuals with limited range of motion and those who might need to use the Aid in beds with limited space. I am very satisfied with this product, and I imagine that you will also find it helpful and more than adequate.

Plastic locking mechanism breaks often and they are a bit pricey. I
I have a disability with legs that don’t cooperate and have to use these things. This one, I’ve found, is the easiest to use and works the best but the only problem I have is the locking mechanism that holds the paper goes out often and these things aren’t cheap. I keep gerthem because they work the best

Product works, but begins falling apart quickly.
After suddenly damaging my right arm and losing certain ranges of motion imported for actions like this in particular, I had to explore technology options as often I do. I bought 3 different units, and Juvo hands down is simply the best. Certainly not perfect, but as close as it might get without an engineer getting involved (which they ought to). Out of the box, it's simple to figure out and begin using, though like anything takes getting used to and building a workflow. Use of standard paper works fine dry against the rubber end, wet wipes not so much. Using a wet wipe, they pull right out slipping right off the rubber, and raised "grips" inside the clamshell flaps are vertical, so they just fall right now. This probably could have been avoided making the molded grip deeper and more interlocking to hold the wet wipes, or as I began doing is rolling up the end for thickness that clamps inside to help slightly but better grip types would fix easily without putting onus on users. Biggest issue so far as after 4-5 months, the locking mechanism stops catching, forcing me to have to maintain a grip on the unit constantly, and with range of motion and limited grip capabilities due to the nerve damage, makes this tough at times. Engineering-wise, the plastic catch on the back of the part that catches simply wore out from low-grade plastic in use. This is so far the most fatal flaw of the product, and know even replacing this one, the next will do the same eventually until v.3 of these come out. This already says "new and improved!", but apparently not enough. Please address this in future design revisions! Few other gripes, the rubber on the rip at the paper end could be longer down the neck. Occasionally get some mess spill over onto the plastic side and into the cracks that is hard to clean. Also the grippy rubber on the hand-side was delaminating even out of the box when I got mine, just indicative of QC issues in general. Also, the caddy thing is pretty useless, see no point to even having this. I'd rather they put a washable cloth sleeve and drawstring to put this in when not in use to store, take with discretely, etc. It's large enough it's hard to find something for it actually... It would be nice to see these little things reengineered better as this is the best product like it out there, I dare say the only I've found. Even if something I just know I need to reorder a new one every so often it might be worth it if the biggest problem with the latch locking just being due to crappy chinese plastic in use that spending another 5 cents would likely fix.

Let the wonderful function of this wand outweigh the embarrassment of needing it! UPDATED!
I've updated my rating to 5 Stars, because of the excellent manufacturer support, on top of being a wonderful product! Juvo is actively improving their products whenever the need arises! I bought this item many months ago for those times when my back goes out, which it tends to do every couple of years. Well, my time was up on my back this round, and time to give this embarrassing tool a try. First, let me say the Juvo Toilet Aid wand is well-made from quality plastics and rubber. Looks like it will last longer than I will! You have to find your way of holding your wiping material. I originally tried using the gripper to hold the start of a multi-layed wrap. That worked well for the task, but had the unpleasant need to remove it from the tip after each wipe. I settled on simply folding regular toilet paper (about same amount I usually use, maybe a little less) and have the gripper hold the whole wad, with the tip kind of folded down like a collapsed mushroom. Works great, and releases into the bowl just fine! And I virtually never have any "business" get on the device. But I always take a few seconds to wet-wipe down the wand after its use, just be sure all is sanitary. Now at the risk of getting graphic, I like to do more than a gentle wipe, I prefer a more aggressive wipe - more like a gentle scrubbing, especially near the end of the event. And the Juvo wand allows me to do this just fine! (I was concerned it would be too flimsy - it's not!). I'm embarrassed to have to use such a device, but it really works well, and is a pleasure use, such as it is. I would, and will, purchase this again, and am considering to get another in case something happens to this one. Maybe even one for the car. I'd just be mortified if one of the buddies found it. But it may be worth the brief embarrassment. (Heck, maybe they'd like one too!). BONUS DISCOVERY! - I found a wonderful and affordable way to stow this in your bathroom without buying the pricey related stand-alone caddy for it. I bought the "Home Basics Bronze Toilet Brush with Holder", and the holder makes the perfect caddy for the Juvo! It even includes an easily washable liner cup to help keep the business-end sanitary. I even made a cut-away in the lid to keep the top covered, sort of (and the end-cap on the brush makes a perfect little handle!). Works great, looks classy, comes with a toilet brush, and all for under $10. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008TMG12M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 UPDATE: Juvo Products stands behind their products with fast, friendly top-of-the-line support! I left my info on a voice mail system, and received a return call within the hour, followed by excellent support! 5 Stars all the way!

Deceptive claims about use from the back, and the new "integrated caddy" is totally useless
The descriptions on the Amazon product page and on the product box are deceptive. Both say "Designed to work from front or back" and "The handle can be used from front or back, depending on condition". So it should be equally useful either way, and the choice should depend only on which way the customer needs to use it -- from the front for stuff that exits the body from the front, and from the back for stuff that exits the body from the back, unless the user's disabilities necessitate otherwise. The manufacturer's video even demonstrates how easy it is to use both ways. Nowhere on the product page or the product's box is there any hint that there's a difference in usability between the two approaches. Only after you've bought the product, removed it from its box, and read the instructions do you discover that using it from the back is extremely limited. You're told that you can use it from the back only "if able to squat over toilet" (see the attached photo of the instructions). That's a sort of mid-air suspended semi-squat, in which the body has nothing to rest on except its own strength, and it must be maintained for however long it takes to load, use, and unload this product several times. Apparently it's also potentially hazardous to use it from the back, because you're told -- in bold letters -- to "Consult Occupational Therapist or Physician before using" it from the back, a warning that the instructions do NOT give about using it from the front. I need a product like this for use from the back only, and I cannot squat over the toilet for more than two or three seconds. Even when I was young and relatively fit, I'm not sure I could have held that awkward semi-squat for the several minutes it could take to use this product. Since I know I cannot do the required squat, I won't have to consult a therapist or physician before doing it, so at least I'm spared that additional expense. This thing will be on its way back to Amazon as soon as UPS opens their door tomorrow morning. And the "integrated caddy" is a joke. The manufacturer's video shows an upright white plastic cylindrical caddy that sits on the floor, like the caddy for a toilet bowl brush. That would be genuinely useful. The new "integrated caddy" isn't a caddy at all -- it's a little plastic clamshell about three inches long that snaps over only the business end of the product but provides NO help in storing it, not even a hook or something you could hang on a hook. And it's not integrated into anything. It's a separate piece that isn't tethered to the wand in any way. You'll still have to find some place to put the wand between uses -- on the floor, on a counter, in a drawer, on top of the toilet tank, in the caddy with your toilet brush ... wherever, AND you'll have to find a place to put the "integrated caddy" while you're using the wand. The "integrated caddy" is a very minimal cover, not a caddy, and -- to make it even worse -- it is VERY hard to get off once you've snapped it on. If I'd kept this product, the "integrated caddy" would be in the garbage within a day.

Works great when healing from an injury
This thing is amazing! I have a fractured humerus and I needed assistance in the restroom but didn’t want to bother my husband for help. This gives me independence until I recover! What a fantastic tool. Thank you to whoever invented this. It’s very easy to figure out and works quite well with flushable wet wipes. Just use one wet wipe at a time and flush to avoid clogs.

Excellent Product! Well Made and Works Very Well
This purchase came way before the date shown on my order so I was very happy about that. I'm disabled and need a product like this. Some of the similar products are made with the end rounded, like the Bottom Buddy. I have found that with me being overweight and disabled, the round end did not work as well because it has to spread the buttocks and it did not. This Juvo Toilet Aid with the flat paddles helps to spread the buttocks and does a very good job. Using the release button was a bit difficult at first but I got used to it. I've bought just about all the toilet aids out there and I think this one is the best.

Comment dire... je ne suis pas sûre qu'il n'ait jamais été utilisé avant de le recevoir ! Le problème est que je n'ai plus le temps de le renvoyer. Que faire ? Dilemme !

Perfect aid for people with disabilities!
I suffer with arthritis in my shoulders and keeping myself clean has become very hard as I get older. This aid is perfect! It is a good design and very sturdy. Do not go for cheaper models, I made that mistake and ended up sending it back because the spring got stuck. This model is a much better design unlike other types.
