Good product gives nice finish. but some amount of it got solidified in a very short time...

The kitchen cabinets are done. This is a favorite clear finish that I have used over the years, not available in my area.

Always comes on time or before, packaging is excellent. Love this product!

I used this product starting in 1988, and was always pleased with the results. Went on easily, flowed out well, beautiful glossy finish. Didn't use it for several years (2000 - 2009, approximately), and recently bought a couple of quarts for a cherry bench I made. Since I was in a new workshop and new locale, I can't say for sure that the environment isn't to blame for the fact that I couldn't get a smooth finish. No matter what I tried, I got brush marks and patterned drying. Temps were 60 - 65, low humidity. Tried higher temps, no difference. Opened the second can - nope. Tried a very little thinner, no difference. I noticed that Varathane is no longer made by Flecto, but is now marketed by Rustoleum. Maybe they changed the formula? Oh, well - with the way things are going, we won't be able to get oil-based varnish for much longer, anyhow.
