with Yamaha the specs says 3 levels of touch sensitivity (soft, medium, hard) but I can't find any info on the Kawai?

The Kawaii ES520 key action is very close to what you get on a good acoustic piano. Don't think it has or needs touch sensitivity. The included sustain pedal is outstanding, by the way.

Is there a soft case for the E520 to transport?

Musicians Friend has a Gator GKB nylon gig bag to fit standard 88 key and also slim 88 key for around $150 - both of which would fit.
