Worked to reduce the brassy red tones in one use. Amazing product. I am going from red brown to platinum blonde and am about halfway through the incremental process. I went out on a limb for this and feel it was very much worth the expense. Scent is not overpowering but be sure to use a good conditioner as it's drying to hair.

This stuff is amazing. I was so, so skeptical of spending this much on a shampoo, but with bleached hair, I knew I didn't have a ton of choices for something that would tone my hair and still be gentle enough for frequent use. I'm not one of those people who can go days without washing my hair, and usually end up washing about every other day. This makes my hair feel soft and smooth (which is amazing because the bleach has wrecked it), but more importantly, it keeps my ash blonde hair looking beautiful. No brassiness, no weird tones, all glorious. I used to bounce between Shimmer Lights once a week and another SLS-free shampoo the other days, and now I can just use one bottle. Perfect.

I love this line of hair products. High-quality., leaves my hair feeling and looking great, even though I use well water. , and great scent too.

Hi, I read some reviews that the smell was very strong, which did concern me, since I get headaches easily from floral items, or the candle store, bath and body stores. BUT, this was not like that. Very light floral scent, almost reminded me of a jasmine flower. Love the way it works for my platinum hair, keeps it feeling nice and looking healthy. I also purchased the conditioner, which helps it to not be such a tangled mess.

While this purple shampoo hasn’t blown me away, I really do like it and think it does a good job at brightening blonde hair. I have highlights and wanted to keep them fresh and bright. This shampoo does the job and helps remove brassiness. I like that it can be used frequently but I think it can be slightly drying to the hair if done so. I try to use it every now and then. Overall I like it.

Good shampoo and smells like the R and Co gem for color treated hair. I have played around with this line because it's all my stylist uses. The Atlantis moisture is great for blonde hair color treated hair, the gem is good but a little bit heavier and creamier. I like to rotate depending on the season or what my hair needs. The Hollywood maybe twice a week for me but you aren't going to be having extreme purple like other brands but it does the job. Also R and Co is very concentrated so you don't need a lot. Also I would recommend their dry shampoo tremendously. It is in a can and saves time and not having to wash your hair all the time. It smells great and fresh

It works as shampoo itself but not as purple shampoo that is supposed to offset brass. I used for quite a while with no difference, then tried another brand that did it in one wash (Krisin Ess). I still use between washes with the other one because I don't want it to get too ashy, but do not rely on this one for anything but clean hair.

Love this product and have been using it for years! I have very curly white hair (well, at 82 what other color would it be?), and this product is perfect for highlighting and toning down whatever yellowing I might "think" I see, and using the conditioner made for this particular shampoo, my hair remains bright, soft, and curly. Every now and then, I'll try something different, but I end up right back to R&Co's Sunset Blvd. This shampoo has never failed me, yet!

I'm a brunette who has been steadily going grey for the last few years. My hair is fairly long and from mid-length down it's going quite a bit lighter (blondish) - the roots, being a darkish grey. I got sick and tired of dying my hair as the upkeep was just a pain. Heard about purple shampoos and did some research on them - decided to pick up this product as it's not as strong as others (from the sounds of things). I was a bit concerned before it came in as people were saying it doesn't work for brunettes. Judging by what it has done for me, I guess that depends on how dark your hair is. After one wash, the difference between the grey and lighter ends was less pronounced and my entire head looked "lighter" but only a bit and the overall colour was move even. After three washes, my mid-shaft to ends is looking quite a bit more blonde and people are commenting on my hair - they can't put their finger on the difference but say it looks great. The shampoo leaves my hair super soft too - mind you I'm using it with Olaplex 3, Kerastase conditioner and mask for damaged hair, Kerastase leave in, etc. as I was dealing with breakage for some time (before using the R+Co that is). Overall, I'm super happy with the product and absolutely LOVE the way it is dealing with balancing out the colours in my "aging" hair. I would completely recommend it. The price isn't too bad considering you don't have to use much (I have fairly thick hair as well).

I like the smell, the larger and the size. Normally I would use about a tablespoon of shampoo to get the larger I like, but with this shampoo I use about half a teaspoon for the same lather! I don’t know how well purple works for my gray though—it doesn’t seem to have much effect.
