Would this work for a teen guy who plays helmeted sports?

I'm not sure what you mean by will it work? It's a great gel that makes my curls look nice and not frizz. It smells good too. It is expensive though and you may find you have to use it more often? I definitely would try it. Good luck!

I don’t know of another R+Co gel. I use Motorcycle flexible gel on occasion. I love it, unless I use too much. When I have used too much, my hair was stiff. Otherwise, it’s great. Does not feel stiff like a gel normally does.

Is it good before and after wearing a helmet

To be honest, I don't know the answer to that. I gave up riding and gave my helmet away before I started using this product. I don't know where the company got its name. I do know I like the product. However, it costs the same on Amazon as it does at my salon. Paying shipping adds to the cost, but then there is the convenience of having it delivered to my door.

Does anybody know if the scent is the same as sandcastle ? i want more of a light paste or gel with the same scent without the sandy texture.
