Great design. Easy to clean. Easy to use. Great filtration. Should have bought this for french press for travel years ago.

That you can drink from it but to keep it warm you must screw the lid off and on.

This is actually the second time I’ve purchased this item, and I like it so much that I’m writing a review this time, (unfortunately I accidentally left my last Espro on an airplane). As a flight attendant I spent 15 years of my career drinking awful freebee coffee in hotel rooms and on the plane, so discovering this gadget was a game changer! I carry fresh ground beans in a little Tupperware container, use the in room coffee machine sans their cheap coffee to make hot water, and 5 minutes later I have two cups of delicious high quality coffee to start my day. If you’re not flight crew and would like to use this while on an airplane, just ask your flight attendant for two cups of hot water. This thing is sleek and slender which makes it quite travel friendly, it makes two cups of coffee each press, is easy to clean, and is user friendly. On that user friendly comment I do have one pro tip…I find that it can overflow if you fill it all the way to the top before putting the plunger in, so just fill it about 2 inches from the top, put the plunger in, and then add more water to top it off. Easy peasy!

Makes a great cup of coffee. Clean up isn’t fun, but typical of a French press. Most impressive, there are no grounds or muck in the last sips. I may spring for the large version of the Espro after this.
