My setup is as follows. I think the filter should go as close to the RV city water inlet. The reasoning is that the hoses may harbor mold, bacteria, whatever. So,At the water faucet I connect a pressure reducer, then a wye adapter - this allows a second hose, then a 25 ft hose - of I need a longer hose, I attach a second 25 ft hose, then a filter, then the hose in this listing - this gets me into my wet bay, it is nice to have one, then a 90 degree fitting, and that screws into the city water inlet.This short hose is perfect. If you don't have a wet bay you can attach the filter directly to the 90 degree fitting or still the above house or even a short 6 inch stress relieving hose.At the faucet end I might use a 90 degree fitting depending on the exit angle of the faucet. My idea is to have the hoses be vertical rather than attach horizontal.Some folks use quick releases at every join. I haven't, so far.The biggest question is if your water pressure hurt by the ½ diameter of this hose. I've gone ½ inch diameter for my entire setup and pressure inside seems fine. I typically don't have multiple faucets, shower, external shower or toilet running at the same time. I do like that the ½ hoses coil into small lightweight bundles.

I'm using this as a backup hose for my travel trailer when I go camping. It works perfectly, but the diameter of the hose is substantially smaller than all my other hoses, which means that if and when it does spring a leak at the connectors, I can't repair it; I'll just need to throw it out.

It’s well made and probably will last a long time, but lacks flexibility.

Needed a short hose to connect a sprinkler timer in the backyard...perfect.

I bought this because it was the least expensive 25' hose I could find, to use as an output hose for a 1/8 HP water pump to drain a HW heater. So a low pressure, low stress application. And it's fine for that. It doesn't seem really heavy duty or high pressure, but that's fine for what I need it for. Everything I could find locally was 3x the price, for probably not any significant increase in quality.
